I can't find anything like that here. Normally that'd be a good base indicator of what I should and shouldn't be posting. Sure, there's common sense but we are on the internet! Then, in the actual subforum, there's a sticky for what the rules / regs for that subforum is about (picture 2, highlighted). And finally, what you see in picture 3, is what I was trying to explicitly find out. The specific rules of each "subforum" if you will. Not sure if I'll find that here, I've been poking around on the FAQs but nothing really pops out as the answer.

Like I said to C3, if there was a "subforum" rules / reg that I could look at before posting (picture 3), then I'd be able to avoid being dumb and prevent Sonny's job from being harder than it actually needs to be. I noticed that on the Rat Trap, the VERY FIRST post had a rules and reg thing in place. So, it was really easy to know I could post pretty much anything off topic here. Which was awesome! If all the boards had something like this that I could look up, that's EXACTLY what I'm looking for.

Seems like providers these days want to only be contacted through texting. Most providers will not talk voice and if they do reply to a PM it's very slow for the most part. Providers need to know that some of us old timers do not do text and probably never will. It is much easier and faster to talk then it it is to text. Plus texting records can be viewed with a court order. Also seems like most of the providers will not return a call from a voice message. There so stuck on using texting. Many providers state in their adverts that they are available 24/7 call or text but yet they do not answer their phone most of the time especially early in the mornings. I understand you all have lifes and other clients but at least return peoples calls ASAP when they leave messages.

Also would like to ask a favor of the providers. If you are in another town and / or state other then the one you are advertising in please do not state that you are "available" on one line and then on another line "pre-book appointment now" because mongers tend to think that you are available now (Today). If you would like for monger to pre-book you before you get into town then state the dates you will be available and ask for pre-booking for those dates. Please remember our time is also valuable just as yours is.

I find myself having to revise my strategy all the time. Frankly, I would love to be able to make appointments we both keep, but I also know that life happens. That is where it gets to be an issue. I, like it seems many of us, work on windows of opportunity. I am in town, have a couple hours, make an appointment, she cancels, I scramble to find someone else as the clock keeps ticking.

As for texting, I have gotten pretty good at texting with my ten dollar TracPhone. I actually amaze myself with that piece of shit. The one advantage to texting is you can carry on more than one conversation at a time.

As for creating a thread, I think that is why we have pimps and madams, isn't it? Oh, yeah, we hate them, don't we?

Also would like to ask a favor of the providers. If you are in another town and / or state other then the one you are advertising in please do not state that you are "available" on one line and then on another line "pre-book appointment now" because mongers tend to think that you are available now (Today). If you would like for monger to pre-book you before you get into town then state the dates you will be available and ask for pre-booking for those dates. Please remember our time is also valuable just as yours is.
