I think if you're looking for sex these places are not the answer, but to get a good massage for less than 1/2 of what you'd get from the legit masseuses, and certainly without the attitude, these Chinese places are very good. I hope they put all the other over priced divas out of business. In that vein, I have gone to several "private" Chinese masseuses that typically charge $40 per hour and are very good. Foot Massage in San Marcos
I am a long time member but have been semi-retired for several years now. I go back to the days of Washington Spa in Escondido, Royal Palace in San Diego and most recently Sundance in Escondido. Those were the days. Of course Escondido still has some great AMP's.
I visited a Foot Massage place in San Marcos. It's relatively new and right off the 78 and Rancho Santa Fe exit in the same center as the Asian Buffet...just north of 78.
My visit was non sexual. They are running a $20 special for one hour. What a great foot massage and more. They start with a nice neck and back massage as your feet are soaking.
