In fact we refer to the land of my birth as sex prison. As to "Everyone outside the USA wants to live here" that also is way wide of the mark. A lot of people do that's the truth but there are over 7 billion people on the planet that don't live in the USA and the majority of them think that it's full of gun toting religious nuts who shoot up shopping malls and blow up federal buildings.

Seriously the vast majority would like to come and go to Disneyland but very few of them want to live there. Rio kinda sucks and I don't know Kiev, but Sao Paulo is fucking awesome and BKK is without question one of my favorite places on the planet. Nearly everything about it is better than living in the states. Better food, nicer people, better and far more affordable healthcare, cheaper cost of living, more stuff to do. Much less intrusive government (and they are a military dictatorship) less crime. I could list shit all day that's better in Thailand than the USA.

If you were to live as a citizen of those countries and have to grow up in those environments to make money, you would realize how harsh it really is. Yes things are cheaper there because the wages paid there is a lot less compared to the US. Governments may seem a lot less intrusive but it also means local corruption is a lot more prevalent. Rights and freedoms are not guaranteed there like it is in the US. If you cross the wrong person over there, you may lose your life and no one would bat an eye. BKK is great to visit but even as a visitor you have to be careful. Insult the king and you will face major issues. Piss off a cop and you can face a lot of problems. There is a reason why people hustle like crazy there because they need to make money in a place where there is very little law and order. What you make can be taken away easily by anyone with power and there is no social safety net to support you if you are old or sick. Just look at China, people are making money but all that can be taken away by the CCP at anytime. It's why the ones with some money are trying to get out with their money. The ultra rich don't need to get out because they can do whatever they want as long as they don't go against the ccp. , Then that means death. Reality is more than your own little world and you would face the harsh reality if you cross the wrong person there.

In BKK I don't talk about the King, ever. I don't insult cops anywhere I go, I just say yes sir and no sir. Thai police have always been unbelievable polite in my few interactions. I also take care that I don't ever point the bottoms of my feet at people in Muslim countries. I have a lot of friends in Thailand who are not rich and none of them, not a single one, would trade their lives to go live in the US.

I live in LatAm and have for years, none of my friends here want to live in the US. They might visit but they also want to visit Paris.

I lived in Hong Kong for 6 years when I was younger and I go back frequently-hopefully plan to sell my company and retire there in about 10 years-and out of the people I meet here it seems like it's always the people who've never been out of the country for any significant time period who are always the ones who still think "everyone" is just dying to move to America.

Nobody is flocking to these places right now, and a lot of countries are mandating a 14 day quarantine for tourists coming in. I have always wanted to travel to these exotic places but my business and family matters keep me planted in the land of the free, home of the brave, so I make the most of it here. With my resources, I bet my dick would fall off from either exhaustion or diseases if I ever used my passport ha ha ha.

Sure the US is great when you compare to Iran or Saudi Arabia, and yes there would be corruption in a Southeast Asian nation. If you have street smarts, then you will do fine. I have been in Europe, the middle east, and Asia many times, until I retired. Only the Asians or middle eastern rich (about 12%) could view these 3rd world nations as provinces of heaven. Yes, the US and Europe have their warts, but not nearly as bad as the South American and Asian nations, where 70 are peasants, scraping by, and only about 15% are middle class, and only 15% are upper class establishment. I have found New Zealand to be the nation that impresses me. NZ has legalized prostitution, and 90% if them are white. Somehow, Asian women never appealed to me, but I know many are lovely. I prefer white or Latina. To each his own, I guess. Oh, and by living in areas in the US that are middle or upper class, I have never had the problems of our wealth Asian comrade.

The current debate is pointless because everyone's viewpoint is relevant to their own life experiences. Everyone has made good points and counterpoints. Those points though should not be generalized and applied as a whole. Not everyone wants to move to the United States or other Western nations, no matter what class level they are in their own society. The ones that are willing to disconnect from all of their families and friends to permanently move abroad do it for many different reasons and are from all class levels. There are great providers that would never choose to move out of their homes and others that would move in a heartbeat. I would like to read more about outstanding provider experiences in different countries. I have had a few good experiences in Montreal, BKK, and Germany.
