I agree with Robert387's post. I do not like being asked for tips and find it a bummer. I had a recent session with Jessica at ERS who asked for a tip 10 mins into the session. I replied that I am now able only to give you $20 for good service and she replied that she needed at least $60. Told her she's crazy and ended up getting a good typical HJ for $20 tip.

We mongers should ban together and discourage this practice. I do not mind tipping say $40 jsut do not like to be blatantly asked for it. How about if a waitress asked for her tip before she brought your meal. That would be wierd!

Maybe some of the girls will read this post

I have never been asked, but if I did I would say that she will find out when the session is over, I tip on her service not tip to get service. the better the service the better the tip, not the other way around. so if she wants a good tip then give good service.

I know the talent at CLV is not as good as ERS and the accomodations leave much to be desired, however, I don't think in the 5 or so times I have been there I have ever been asked for a tip. Maybe when ERS starts losing customers the management will ask what's going on. Given the size of Belvidere I am sure word would eventually get to the owner.

Came across a CL posting "BBW with Tallent" a couple days ago in the gigs "adult" section on the rkfd postings. Gota couple pics in the e-mail not a bad looker, deff thick was wondering is any one had a chance to visit with this one. Claims to live out just east of Belvidere. And the price is nice and low.

I thought about this after I slept on it. It says right on the wall what the attendant is making for the session which is $45. I know a person who is a marketing mgr for a medical device company who creates leads for the salespeople makes $40/hour, (she has an MBA from Yale). The workers at ERS are not required to be liscensed or have any training at all. The workers for the UAW recently took a paycut to keep their jobs and they were averaging around $23/hour. A plumber or electrical unioun worker doesn't make $45/hour. I would say that a mechanic probably makes that. I saw an ad for a liscensed massuese at a chiropractic clinic and they were offering $40/hour. I mentioned it to a girl who used to work at ERS (the one who was caught rifling through pockets) and she said, "that is chump change." To give it a little more perspective, if you check these forums in say Washington Park, IL there are a few places down there where good looking dancers, comparable to those at ERS will take you to a private room and give you more than what you get at ERS for $50 total. I think a message needs to be sent to the greedy women at ERS that we are in a tough economy and they are making pretty good money even if they don't get tipped. Just another couple of thoughts.

At ERS which I have frequented a fair bit my tip is in the 20-25 range. When World went to.75 for their base fee, I began visiting MC down the street where the massage is.65, tip I provide is.4 and they don't ask for it. People who throw around extravagant amounts of money for service are responsible for wrecking attitudes and result in the "chump change" statement.

Add me to the growing list of people gripping about the ladies asking for tips. One fact that Bbbuddy left out is that all the jobs he listed are "hourly" wages. The girls in the massage joints don't work hourly. A girl in CLV or ERS can sit on her money-maker all day and only get 1 customer. That $45 then gets spread over 6 hours or so. Don't get me wrong. I'm not defending them, but if you're going to compare, make it apples to apples. I think a 20 or 25 tip is well within the norm, considering what you actually get for your money. " You may be right, I may be crazy."

I agree with you stinky, there are some girls at ERS that I will not choose to ever have massage me, however, it seems even they do get customers and I am sure they are making money or they wouldn't be there. The paticular girl I mentioned who made the comment about chump change used to brag about routinely be busy from the moment she came in until she left and would say she left with $1000. I would say 8 appointments of massage is considerable work but $1000, cmon. That's over $200k a year. Now who should we feel sorry for? The other fact you failed to recognize is that if she is making $1000 a day then she is making at least $500 or more in tips which is not taxed that's worth at least another $125 per day. Again, I agree there are girls that do much less but they IMHO look like they can't expect to be in this league.

Luckily there were no parades going on when I was passing through, so I successfully made my return visit to ERS recently. I ended up picking Jamie since I remembered the name from here and thought that it had been mentioned in a positive light. I found her to be attractive, pleasant to talk to, and very competent at massage work. On the down side, I found her to be a little too business like during the massage compared to the sensual, flirty, playful attitude that my previous session with Nina had. Though she did get "comfortable" prior to starting the massage and did warm up nicely on the flip, it seemed she intentionally avoided coming into touching range during the massage itself and confined her rubbing to the strictly legit areas. In all fairness, I can't call the session bad since it was on par with the average service I am used to in HJ only AMPs for roughly the same price, It just wasn't what I was expecting/ looking for at that time so I felt a little let down. Bottom line, I wouldn't leave if she was the only one available, but I won't make seeing her a top priority on future visits either.


In reference to the discussion on tipping in the last several posts, I have not been asked for a tip during or after the session either time I was there. In both cases I left .25 and they seemed okay/happy with it. IMHO .70 for an hours work is a good wage. Even if they do only get one or two customers a day that is still pretty good money considering the work doesn't require any great amount of skill or education to do and the effort they have to put into earning it isn't exactly backbreaking labor either. I can remember a time when I worked alot harder for less. In the past I have experimented with offering higher tips in places where the tip is negotiated in advance to see if the service improved. I found that in most cases you simply end up paying more for the same level of effort and generally wasting your money. Based on that opinion, if the tip is negotiated up front I offer the "going rate" based on what I see here and refuse to budge. I have never been refused extras, although at times I think the quality of the service probably suffered a bit due to hurt feelings. If no tip is agreed to prior, I follow the same basic principal as I do in restaurants. Better service= better tip and vice versa.

If one of the girls tried that on me I would get dressed and walk out and go right to the front desk and ask for my money back. There are signs right on the wall asking us to report girls asking for a tip...start doing it and this will stop right away.

The girls of CLV and ERS have known about this site for a long time. And in this entire time I believe there was only once that a girl actually posted a response. But when I read all of the last posts about tipping, I had to speak my mind. First of all, this is not a job where we are paid hourly. Someone did mention that earlier (thanks). We are not busy all day long, no matter how attractive. Things have been very slow due to the economy so sometimes we do sit all day. No one makes $1000 a day. The one person that did was doing extras and stealing and she was fired. We understand that tipping is not required. But if you don't wish to tip, do not try to do anything that is not included. What is included in the $45? A massage and a HJ. No breast kissing, no rubbing down there. So yes, if you're going to be doing all that extra touching, don't you think you should tip? We don't let you do it because its included, we do it hoping you'll be more satisfied and tip us. So, if you were asked for a tip, it was probably because you were doing some extra feeling around.

For the guy that said that a licensed masseuse earns $40, well is she naked and jacking you off? Obviously not, or you would go see her instead of coming to us. Regardless of whether the job involves skill, its very degrading to women. It doesn't matter what the girl says, she hates her job because there are a lot of unappreciative men that treat you like garbage. Of course we don't tell you that. We want to make you feel good, because thats part of our job. Some guys are very respectful and sweet and it does make the job a ton easier. But some are jerks that just want to paw you to death and complain about tips. You know who you are. Our job is hard mentally. But we do it because there are no jobs out there. There are good days but without tips, it doesn't equal much. Its not the amount of the tip. Its realizing that we provide a valuable service and appreciating that. We tip when we get our hair and nails done and go out to restaurants.

Have you not seen the high turnover in the last few months? Girls are sick of being mistreated. Many have left for regular jobs because the little extra they make working at massage parlours isn't worth it if you're treated like an object. We are not your sex toy that you get to manhandle for 45 bucks. We are real people. And the profession is about being mutually beneficial to each other. And I don't mean getting us off too. For all the guys that understand this, thank you. I'm sure you are one of the customers that are respectful and that we enjoy having. For everyone else, take it how you want to.

Many of us make that per day working 8 hours a day. Then we pay taxes, you don't. If you don't like the job find another one or quit. Nobody is forcing you to work at any job. If you get a $10-20 tip be happy. The other thing is get your GED and go to college.

I am sorry that you are stuck in a job that is so degrading and that you hate. The plain truth is that in recent studies close to 75% of the american workforce hates their jobs, however I do empathize with the degradation factor.

It is valid what you said about tipping for stylists or waiters/bartenders, however, if you read the prior posts the girl in question was asking up front for a tip before any service was even rendered so your theory of them doing extra touching would not apply. If she politely explained that our standard massage includes exactly what you said and if there is any touching beyond that then an additional tip is customary I am sure the posters in question would not have been so turned off. So by your own argument if I go in and the massage is just an average massage and I don't even try any mutual touching then no tip should be required. I have two jobs and one of them is a position where I am paid tips and the other full time position is one where I generate commissions.(so neither of my postions do I have any guarantees) The position where I make tips I am on my feet for a 7 to 10 hour shift and deal with around 125 to 200 wanting drinks and to make $45/hour would be a good thing. Our points were plain and simple, it is a tough economy as you admitted in your post, and for someone to discuss tips up front when someone is already paying $95 is quite off putting.(and as you can see by reading the posts, it actually backfired on her twice and cost her $20 each time)

I don't know what type of goofball goes in there treating the women badly, however, personally I make it a way of life to respect everyone, whether it be the busboy that brings me my water or the attendant who gives me my massage. I know what it feels like to give your best and get nothing in return so I do empathize with your position, and from your post it doesn't sound like you are the girl in question that is asking for tips upfront. Since you can read the girl's name on here you might want to take her aside and explain that she is only hurting herself and others, as well as possibly driving men to other providers since I am quite sure that some of your customers probably drive all the way from the chicago suburbs to come to ERS. Just a thought, and appreciate your tactful post.
