Those that are in the early30's type age range with a certain amount of stability in their lives have been the best. Full time job, house, etc. I have had great success with ongoing relationships with some that fit that profile. Granted, they can be difficult to find.
Younger ones are best if you are not really counting on long term reliability and continued focus on a quality experience.

North Raleigh and Cary are the most likely locations to find the right ones.
