Right while I was posting this reply I started talking to this one. I just googled her head shot and just the "name" part of her handle and voila. I get her twitter, college profile and model mayhem all in a couple minutes. She gained a couple since college but she did agree so far to the $ a date scenario. I started with the 123 letter. She is at least 20 lbs over my usual but hey, she lives in Hollywood. Lets see if she actually M&G's. But its good practice to chat it up here and there anyway not matter the outcome. My SB is no longer teetering into Nando-1 like she was really early on (in fact I didn't really know how bad it was until recently). And I think I'm justified in taking some of the credit for stabilizing her situation, both from a personal support as well as financial perspective. Which is very rewarding.

In my specific situation, your last sentence is dead-on. She's quite smart, and is working hard to recover from her earlier educational blunders. Which were mostly a product of circumstance, and were she in a more supportive family environment she likely would have fared much better. So for now she's in a dead-end service job but also going to school, and it would be a huge blow for her to lose the hope of something better than the track she was on 18 mos ago.

Anyone (SD or SB) who has the time to keep up with the BS is either unemployed or retired and amusing themselves out of boredom. The girls are all GPS. Since start I have been excited about SugarDaddy approach and intrigued by the idea of providing 'emotional'sexual'financial'physical' support (saw this somewhere on earlier posts). With this in mind, I tried to register myself on these sites hoping to get in touch with mature women. My thought process was and IMO mature women (35 +) may not come bundled with 'DRAMA which may be associated with young women' and mature women having kids may have pretty clear idea of what they want out of SD arrangement, this might help both of us for pleasant relationship. I'm wondering if going out to local bar and hanging around with folks there will provide a chance to meet women (and in particular mature women) , with whom I can connect to and hangout with them and possibly get a chance to discuss on SD arrangement with them.

I agree 100% on your assessment of the SA blog. I am retired at 62, and sometimes bored. So, bullseye!

The discussions start off on topic for a few posts, then descend into drivel. Every time.

However, they do reflect what a considerable number of pots think. GPS pots.

So why bother to read?

Simply because of curiosity initially, and after a while, being able to look at a profile, and brush it aside if I see the key words and phrases being used. Looking at the SA blog, for me, is just a bit of background research.

So, some time wasted looking at the blog, but less time wasted talking to pots and then finding out they are GPS.

When I tried to install it one of the permissions it needed was to use accounts on the device for identification purposes. Can I stay completely anonymous with this app? Cannot have it use my phone # since this is my real phone!

You raise a good question about APPs -- you are correct, they are notorious for sweeping up a lod of information from your contacts if you let them, location data etc, and sending them BACK to the APP provider.

I am not sure that I would want SA to know all about my locations and real friends!

It begs the question about is it time to have burner smart phones?

Seems VCU is ranked high in more than basketball. It's made SA's list of Top 20 of schools for SBs.

As far as the apps themselves grabbing information, if that's a concern choose iPhone over Android and be sure to never jailbreak the phone. Android is much more susceptible to malware. The apps in the apple app store are under much more rigorous scrutiny, Apple won't let them in if they dubiously try to tap into things like contacts and location. Google Play store is a free for all cluster fuck full of potential security problems.

The notifications default to On so when you get a message on SA it vibrates your phone (hard) and you get an icon in the corner like a text but with the SA logo. I figured out how to turn off notifications and the logo pop up went away (don't want anyone seeing the SA symbol on the face of my phone) but the vibrating still happened. Annoying.

They are advertising, recruiting more SBs, keeping their business running. It's not like they'd attract many SBs if they said "you'll probably be offered $40 to come to some creepy old man's hotel room!" or even "College Sugar Babies receive on average 100-300 a week".

If the number isn't completely made up, then it was most likely obtained via a study that used self-reporting. I can't think of any other way to get that info. Self-reporting would definitely bias it towards the high end. Virtually 100% of those lucky enough to actually get the crazy-high offers will want to brag about it. How many of those makeing 500-1000/ month will feel like bragging?
