If its the same owner as Paradise, they'll give you HE (as Fangsdiam says) after they get to know you. I haven't been there in awhile, but my recollction is that they really don't want to give HE so its not that great of an experience. Plus it was an older (50+) woman working there. Has the quality improved at all?

New girl, this is her first day. Her name is Channel as in Channel #5 the perfume. Her English was pretty good and she told a few jokes and is a dog lover (has at least 3). I got a really good massage. There was massage of the glutes and inner thighs as well as the back, neck, arms and legs. Quite a good massage for $30. It seems we're being invaded by the Chinese. They have massage places popping up all over the place. I think it's terrific. They give really good service and their cost is 1/2 of what the others charge. Let's face it, the masseuses go through training a moron could pass, it's much simpler than 2 semesters of college, and yet they attempt to get paid what a PhD makes. I say hoorah for the Chinese.

First of all, one must complete a fairly rigorous course of studies to become a Licensed Massage Therapist. I know because I've looked into it. To convince yourself of this, you need only go to a reputable massage school and ask about their program.
Second, while a massage business may charge around $60 or more for an hour massage, the therapist will usually get less than half of that. The split is even worse at high-end spas, with the client paying much more, and the therapist making less.
My therapist gets $25 of the $60 I pay. I also leave a $10 tip. I've gone in to see her in pain, and left pain-free. I think that's worth something. I don't think a moron could do that for me.

Did he move you to a private room or was the massage right here on the recliner chair? How private was it?

It's not private at all. I've been there, and it's kind of different because they have 6 or 7 recliners all lined up. When I was having my session, I heard 3 women come in and say they had an appointment and were set up right next to me. I then heard a couple enter and they were told to wait. Once I got over the company, it was extremely relaxing. My masseuse was the Mom (I guess) and the guy asked me if it was okay if she did it before she began. The whole experience was non-sexual, but well worth more than the $30 fee.
(When I asked how much I thought they said $130 because of the accent, and was surprised when they repeated!)
