Here in NA, I'm also noticing providers using snapchat / facetime for verification and many of whom have some sort of premium membership set up via snapchat / onlyfans.

Truth be told, there are plenty of guys out there who will pay that much and more for an "introduction" to a hot celebrity that they've got a crush on. I know one guy who paid $10 K for an "introduction" to one of the actresses who was on the older version of Charmed (and no, I won't say who). As I've said many times, most porn stars are in the $1200-1500 range. You can sometimes negotiate down. And sometimes, if you're respectful and courteous, etc. You can get them to stay longer than the hour for no extra.
FWIW, porn stars negotiate contracts and have agents that have to get paid. So, they typically get paid anywhere from $1000 - $2000 per scene if they are an "established" actress with some getting paid more.

Like MrFrench says, it's all about the celebrity status and as KingofFours mentioned, you can find porn stars that are more market rate.
