Thanks to those who have directly or indirectly responded. Much obliged, gents. I'm actually getting excited about this and partly because it seems there is some chemistry involved and I like sharing, within reason, my minor success in life. Paying it forward to kind people if you will. Kind people that are female and hot haha.

I'm single, live alone and have great insurance. And I'm also a no-bullsh#t guy, so I rarely have problems with crazies. Had one ex that was a dancer that was batsh#t psycho and of course the best lay of my life on the reg for a few years. So I'm experienced with handling crazy and have a good sense when it comes to that and more importantly, the point in the relationship when the crazy starts peeking out. I don't plan on seeing any of the gals for more than 3-4 months, no matter how great the chemistry is.

Because of the advice, I'd probably forego the coffee too. I've dated off and on using match (a lot of the advice is eerily the same as match) and the coffee dates suck on that too. It's not a fun environment. Feels too much like a business meeting rather than just hanging out. With the younger gals, drinks are an issue. When I come up with something creative (thinking a round of miniature golf or arcade because then I could have fun and check her out bending over) I'll letchya know.

Because it's fun to read my current list of potsis:

I'm seeing a few brothers report that M&G for coffee isn't working for them. I personally can only think of one coffee date that I've had that didn't lead to the FC on the next date. I rarely drink, so meeting at a bar isn't really my thing. And my target audience are the girls who either aren't old enough to drink or are barely old enough. And I've found that meeting for lunch or dinner isn't really ideal for a M&G date for multiple reasons.

It is interesting to hear the different takes, and I think the one lesson that is constant, is that everyone is going to be different. I guess that's also what makes the bowl interesting since the game is tailored to individual needs, wants, and taste.

Like fotoguy, the only coffee m&g that I have had that didn't lead to the FC, were because I chose not to take them there. I like the coffee m&g because like him, my target audience tends to be younger, and for me, because I use hotels, I'd rather not sink much into my upfront costs. Dropping $30 on a first at a restaurant or activity, would be better spent on going towards the hotel, if there is a decsision by both parties to go there. If the girl is 20 lbs heavier than her pics, spending that initial $30 hurts a lot more since it could have gone towards a date with one of my regular sbs. Plus, IMHO, the coffee m&g allows for more options. Coffee at ten, can turn into lunch, which can turn into drinks (if she is of age) which can turn into. You get the point. But if the pot isn't what I expected or as pictured, or we don't click, spending 15 minutes and $2. 75 is a time and cash committment that I feel comfortable spending.

As for the FC location, sorry if my last post implied that one shouldn't bring an sb to ones house. What I was trying to convey was that it is just not for me. Right now. Who knows, talk to me in a year and that might change. Right now, because of my SO, my neighbors, my location, and my job, bringing an sb back to my house isn't in the cards. Besides, I tend to gravitate towards sbs that are younger, and are looking more for different experiences that they want to talk to their friends about. If I find a hotel deal at the 4 seasons for $200 and give my sb a $50 gift, and she is happier for it, then I'm happy and also got to enjoy a nice room for the night as well. If the next week, she needs $150 to pay her cell phone bill, and doesn't mind staying at a Super 8 for $40, then I'm happy, saved a few dollars and added another night to my rewards points that will go towards a freee night.

I have also found that for some of the the younger girls I have met, they have ideas in there head that aren't grounded in reality. So for example, in my market, a million dollar home isn't the kind of mansion that you see in the movies or on tv, but because they've always lived in an apartment growing up and then a dorm, they imagine that I live a lifestyle that isn't as "normal" as it really is, and that's a big part of why they are attracted to me. If I brought them home and they met my dog, looked at the pictures hanging on the wall, and saw that I don't have a butler or an indoor pool in my house (and no, I don't tell them that I do, but some of these girls think that being a senior executive in a large organization means something like they see in the movies), part of that "magic" that attracted them to me in the first place would be gone.

I suspect there are some guys who think that using a hotel is crazy because of the credit card paper trail it leaves and the cost. Moreover, there may be some guys who won't date an sb, unless she has the ability to host.

At the end of the day, what I think is great about this board is the fact that others are willing to share their strategies, and we can all incorporate what works best for each individulal situation and specific target audience.

My reasoning is this: back in the early days of online dating, before match became the dominant dating site, there used to be a lot of smaller / struggling sites trying to gain traction. They often had a much smaller selection of prospects, but ultimately that became their biggest asset. Because they were not flooded with hot women, they struggled to get paying male members -- what this meant is that I had much less competition for pussy on them, and because of that I found some real gems there -- gems that at the time had not even thought to try Match. Why? Just because they happened upon the smaller site first, and they didn't care to learn to navigate two different sites or didn't want to pay for two sites, or some of them preferred the manageability of lower traffic.

I'm curious whether the same would be true about these more obscure sites. Less selection and also less competition, ultimately resulting in less time spent on the site (a good thing for us busy folks), but perhaps finding a rare diamond or two that is an easy pickup simply because they don't have lots of others knocking on their door. The downside of course is that it usually takes paying for at least a month to find out, but since I assume all of us have above average expendable income (or we wouldn't be SDs), those fees are relatively insignificant.

The biggest negative I see of lesser-traveled sites are the technical implementation of the site itself. Some of them are not particularly well-designed or tested with regard to producing search results within a geographical area (which of course is critical, if she doesn't show up in your search, it makes it hard to know she's there), or at least learning to get around the user-experience limitations or quirks can take a lot of time.

As far as sponsorforme specifically -- it's interesting to me that the pornhub guy seems to get his girls from there. The two that I've seen were both hot. One of them said she is a student at ASU so I'm he is operating out of southern Cali or somewhere there in HollywoodGuy's neck of the woods.

So, while I don't doubt at all that they are getting paid for their intro shoots, they do appear to be legitimate first timers to me. And I don't believe he is really misleading them the way he claims to be (claiming to get them connected to mainstream porn producers), I think part of that is him adding some entertainment value to his brand.

But, I don't think any of the girls I've seen him film were scripted. If they were, then he has stumbled accidentally upon girls who all possess acting skills that far exceed academy award material. A lot of people don't realize that acting to a script in a way that is believable for a film production or play is one thing, but acting to a script while trying to *believably* portray someone who is not acting is a hell of a lot harder, so these girls would be exceeding the skillset of Jessica Lange or Meryl Streep by an order of magnitude if they were following a script (at least the ones I've seen). This is why producers of reality shows work so hard to take raw footage and weave it into something remotely believable (because there is so much directed activity and posturing for the camera that takes place behind the scenes). Still, most of the time a reality show that isn't real is easy enough to spot.

Now, creative editing, that's a whole different story. Things can be edited in order to tell a story completely different than how it happened. But, his productions aren't that slick and I doubt his production skills are either. Just a guy with a camera who has decent game when it comes to talking to women.

The second is just drama since, when you flake on somebody once even in business or real life and due to an emergency, you make sure that 2nd meet is legit. And who wants drama before you even meet? Tell her, nicely, to get her life straight and she knows where to find you. That worked wonders for me on conventional sites and in real life. Let's them know you were interested, that you are too busy for games, and if she ever reaches out later she'll probably go the extra mile. You have to put the image out there that you're busy and in demand. Even if you're really watching Sportscenter and scratching your nuts with a stale pizza in front of you. They either run you or you run them. I prefer the latter.
