I'm not goi g to pay because it won't make it go away and only invite more extortion. Everyone should be aware that texting apps are easily traceable. Only use burners.

Could you have created a Google account that had very little information or information that was incorrect instead of using your correct name? Could you have used Kevin H or Jimmy Z? Or D's balls? You got to verify on Google. Think about the process don't use your personal insensitive information. Sounds like you've made a mistake now what you need to do is learn from it.
Just so you know. Your personal and sensitive information is located in the public registry on the Internet criminals have access to it and use it all the time.

Apparently in some leak my information is on dark web. I don't think the threats are real but the harassment can be a real nuisance. Was wondering if anyone else has gotten these kind of threats contacting new ads or providers.

There are Phishing schemes going on all the time. They're just looking for traction to see who bites on the scam. I get stuff all the time saying that my iPhone is not going to be delivered from Amazon, Microsoft is having a problem with my account, people call me wanting to buy my house with all the wrong information. This list can go on and on.
You could always have a private investigator, looking into your affairs and they're fishing for information. That's a big mind F right there.
