I think one of the biggest factors is frequency. If you are only dating 4 to 8 times a month you can raise the bar (or at least I would). Get a prettier girl, spend $$ plus dinner and a gift. HWG, I took the liberty of "borrowing" some of your points a couple of months ago as I agree with them. I didn't put it in my postings however I do use it in the intro letter. But their algorithm is as follows at the lower ages. Your age/2 + 7 years.

So now I am 25.

25/2 = 12.5 + 7 = 19.5.

But I guess they fudge it slightly because I can now message the 18 year olds.

Long time lurker of this website, 1st time poster. I stumbled upon this thread the other day and am hooked. Hooked because my initial experience with a SB occurred while I was on a date with someone I'd met on a conventional dating website, and we met her male friend up who was meeting one of his SBs. I'm not sure, but it's in place to combat spam and it will be lifted soon if you stay on the site. Are you doing this for sugar dating or "normal" dating?

Welcome! I am sure the other members of this board can provide more, but here is my 2 cents:

In my few weeks in the bowl, I use certain sites like [URL]hotels.com[/URL] and priceline to keep hotel costs down. At first my sbs seem to have needed nicer places to get them to the FC, but once they are comfotable and understand that I am more generous with them if they are willing to spend our private time at a lower end place, they quickly become ok with rooms at the lower end places. Plus when you establish trust tat an sb won't flake, you can use the "name your own price" feature on priceline for extra savings. Thank you Capt kirk! Hotels. Com gives you a night free for every ten nights booked.

Also because I take out the cost of the hotel from the sbs per date allowance, they often quickly find ways to send the kids to grandmas or find date times when their roomate is not in the dorm. More for them and less for me: the depending on how much I like an sb, she will get all of what I saved or I might split the difference.

Coffee is overrated, but a great way to tell if the sb posted pics that were from 20 lbs and 10 years ago. I prefer not standing up a girl (since I have no idea if she is communicating with other girls who might also be on the sites I am on, and if so, would hate to develop a reputation that might prevent me from meeting someone that I do want to add to my rotation). There have been two occassions where I skipped the coffee and went straight to a light meal with a pot at her request, and when I saw them, wanted to keep walking. Instead I ended up taking them out and wasting money that could have been better spent on a hotel.

I have found that my sweet spot is meeting for drinks at a bar for happy hour. If I click with a girl, there are cheap drinks early on and its easy to suggest going from drinks to a meal. The problem here is if your sb pot is 18-20. That is why I like sticking with coffee, even though its overrated.

As others have posted, best to be direct up front (at least in the dc MD VA area where I tend to frequent). It eliminates a lot of free meals and drinks. While some profiles list that the girl doesn't want to be propositioned like that, I've found that it helps weed out the field. Besides if they were looking for a different kind of relationship, they should be on match, or eharmony or whatever.

For me, I have had too many experiences where a jilted past girlfriend end up showing up randomly at my doorstep at the most inappropriate time. Besides my SO probably wouldn't approve.

I already found 3 girls from SD4 M on there. One is a girl I dated and one is a very expensive pro that turned me down in the past. But there are a lot of cute girls. I have more success taking a girl to dinner, drinks, then back to my crib. I 've had no success doing the Starbucks dance (except once) . It is impossible for them to resist once I get them in my locked and gated apartment which they had to enter by walking past the hot tub and heated pool in the garden. But my take on bringing them home is that it can work just fine. I have no problem doing that myself, have been for about a year now without trouble of any kind. Being single helps though, and so does a rather "spartan" lifestyle (I'm really not worth robbing, not for anyone with even a milligram of common sense. No easy to sell valuable stuff around my place. Heck, if anyone steals my TV, I'll give them a bonus for hauling that POS out of here so I can finally justify getting a new one to myself). Risk factors vary though, so it's best to use your own judgement. And I always do a very thorough "sanity screening" before meeting them.
