Mr. Ape, Sophia has my number and I'm sure many other good "$$" loyal patrons of her mp. She called me a week before the raids and then again prior to their exit.
I was there when most thought that it was closed. So prove me wrong or zip your banana eating lips. Yes they will return after the coast is clear. I'm sure it will be a different.
Arrangement also. Daddy OUT!
This has nothing to do with YA's post. I have been in contact with Sophia also and got the same story as YA. So the bottom line is you are saying that she is that she has lied to us. It is your word against her's, not your word against YA. I have been a regular here for 3 years two times a week so why would Sophia lie to me and not accept my business? Remember Muff daddy you are the unknown part of this equation.

I wore a rubber though. Not like this fool.

Arrangement also. Daddy OUT!
You posted on 9/1/12 that they never closed and were UTR. I am simply stating that the girls had already returned to NY by then and that the spa was indeed closed. You were giving everyone the impression that they never closed at all.
I don't think they are just reading these types of forums to gather leads on criminal behavior, I think this could be used to intimidate someone to talk. It's unlikely that these posts could be used as direct evidence in court as it is hear-say. However, maybe someone gets busted and denies everything and the cops show them a bunch of posts and say "We know what goes on here. We've got you. Come clean and stay out of jail." If nothing else, it may provide more info they can use to bump up charges. Maybe this info is enough to get a warrant.
It's interesting to note that when you join another site, you agree that everything you post fictitious. There's probably a very good legal reason for that.
So long as a place is licensed and you aren't caught in any sex act, you were there for a legit massage, and that's all. By the way, for those of you who own a smartphone, they have a voice record feature. If LE ever raids a joint and you pulled for questioning first thing I would do is grab my iPhone and discreetly hit the record button. Record anything they say, it may be the one thing that helps save your hide.
I think I should mention an episode regarding LE, lest we all become too relaxed, and think that all we have to do is sit tight and wait for the dust to settle. LE is active, and working hard to close all of the AMPs; just as the captain of the police force said that he would do.
Had occasion to visit my favorite, NMS the other night. Been going there a long time. I'm fairly friendly with the papasan.
Seems LE paid a visit during the day last week, and went nuts-o. Wanted to see all the customers and girls' I'd's. Harassed everyone verbally. Really was abusive; and most likely everything he did lies within the grey area of the law. And, or course, he knows who ya going to complain to?
As a result, most of the girls have left.
A friend reports the same goings-on at Lily's as well. LE has a paradox: neither AMP is full-service, and they know that; so existing prostitution laws can't be applied. The plan of attack seems to be harassment; and just as nasty as they can make it.
My opinion is that we need to support these two places more than ever, as loyal customers; being unafraid of the big snarling dog with the thunderous bark. If we don't support them, the captain will get his way, and we will lose another avenue of escape from the daily stress we seek to alleviate from time to time.
Did you guys read the article in today's Prov Journal about them closing 13 of 15 spas in Prov. Supposedly this was an ongoing investigation after they stopped a courier with 50 grand in cash from One. Well whatever. I don't know about you but I really feel safe in Providence with all those 90-100 lb Koreans gone. I may ever stop carrying now (legally). Not
Well that explains why OS closed back in May.

Since when can LE just bust into a place of business without probable cause? Massage is not illegal. Wonder which office the chief is running for in Nov.

Wonder which office the chief is running for in Nov.
Funny you should say "massage". I called DT a few days ago along with a couple of other places just to see if they were open. I asked the girl who answered the phone at DT "how much for your massage?" even though I know the answer, but have no money to go. Anyway the girl said "massage? We don't do that here". I was dumbstruck for a second there, so then I asked "do you do body rubs?" which she said they did and what the price would be. This was the big issue years ago when they were cracking down. In RI you need a license to do massage but not body-rubs. So any place offer massages or implying massage without a license I guess would be subject to LE harassment and or fines. Just my opinion though.

Wonder which office the chief is running for in Nov.
You're talking about a spa that advertises in the adult classified section of the Providence Phoenix as well as the "adult" escort listings of Backpage. Sounds like probable cause to me. I've been jonesing for some Asian persuasion but right now it's not worth the chance. Don't confuse being ARRESTED with being CHARGED. A police officer doesn't need evidence to arrest someone, they need evidence for someone to be charged and convicted in a court of law. If a police officer has probable cause, you can be arrested. If there is a place where they have probable cause of illegal activities, like an AMP or crack house and they obtain a warrant for a raid, anyone in that place at the time of the raid can be arrested for suspicion of prostitution or suspicion of controlled substances. Just because they don't see you getting a HE doesn't prevent you from being cuffed and hauled away. You might not be convicted and you might actually walk out of court a free man, but you can still be arrested, with a chance of ending up in the Projo or evening news.
I believe the key phrase is "and they have a warrant" which it does not sound like they did. Furthermore, I could be wrong, but I believe NMS is licensed for massage and not body rubs.
If you think they had probable cause because they post in the adult section, why was no one arrested? If posting in the adult section is cause then everyone who walks into a strip club is subject to arrest as we all know what goes on in PVDs finest SC's. Speaking of which, there are more dangerous things going on in the strip clubs, why are they not being harrassed?
I think this is one zealot abusing the law because he can.
I still say, sad day for civil liberties.

I was told by one of the girls that two had left for NY. As for lily's and NMS I think you should be pretty safe since those girls never take any part of there clothes off. In all the times I've been there and with different girls I've never been asked what I want except what kind of pressure I wanted. A lot of legit massage therapists will let you go nude. Again the LE could make you nervous if they showed up. Even though they don't have a warrant. Sometimes they are under a lot of pressure from above and act like storm troopers. I agree about the SC's a lot more goes on there, all you have to do is sit an watch who goes where. I think the owners of these clubs have a lot more pull than the AMP's do.
Of course this is only my opinion.

Insofar as the SC's are concerned, before I wised up and realized how much $ I was wasting for FS (did not know about MP's in those days,) any club I went to offered FS. From posts I've read, most still do. I also agree with you that the owners have more clout than the owners of the AMP's. I think you'll find that the more prominent clubs are owned by some powerful people that have connections, and they have some influential clientele as well. As my dad used to say "it ain't what you know, but WHO you know."

ND
You are correct. NMS Papasan told me some time ago their license is for massage. I could be wrong, but I never heard of any licensing authority anywhere issuing a license for "body rubs." Might not be a bad idea though. Let's partition our local licensing board to create this category. It's long overdue!
No warrant was shown.
I agree with you as well about more dangerous things going on in the SC's. It's the main reason I left, and began to utilize the AMP's. My only regret is that I did not know of the MP's first.
He must be a zealot, or internal pressure is on him as well. Even though he has a pretty good rank, there's always a general with more stars around.
As I mentioned before, the SC owners know more people in high places. For the time being. This may change!

Maybe a trip to a good legal dictionary for the meaning of the term "false arrest" and the criminal and civil ramifications of it might be worthwhile.
As others here have suggested if you're in a place that gets raided keep your mouth shut IOT protect your 4th and 5th Ammendment rights. About 20 years ago I was in a Southern California AMP when a raid went down and the only thing I said was that I wasn't going to say anything without legal representation. LE seemed both pissed and flustered by this, but let me go saying they couldn't detain and question me without probable cause.
