This weekend I witnessed a bust go down, theres this white van, with a ladder rack plain no signage, FYI I happen to be at times working in the loop area, so I've noticed this van a lot the last 10-14 days just looping L, on early Sunday morning, around 5:00 am I saw this van circling around 3 x,a marked uncle parked in the speedway facing north on the west side of lot, next to the house, but it was empty, weird I say, wen I was headed to gas station westbound on 13th & L, b 4 I get their this white van pulls up to talk to this HSW, what ever was said & boom the back opens up 3 plain clothes cops jumped out & within 2 minutes 2 marked squads pull up lights a flashin, I've been suspicious of this van for over a week, as it seems to lurk around & around, Srarts with the letter K _n 957_,remember guys, plain white, ladder rack, no signage, I've only seen a white male driver, maybe late 40's to early 50's,looks like light grayish hair, be safe guys, happy trails.

There was a recent high publicity sting at a South Side hotel, Enforcement on the South Loops has been up since the summer of 2017 and it appears it may wratchet up even higher based on statements made at the last District 2 Community Meeting. Drug houses and trap houses are getting busted so regularly it doesn't even make the news anymore.

Now, if I were to somehow become aware of a provider or a forum member that has a medical issue the posting guidelines on the front page are pretty specific about safe sex complaints and safe sex bragging. Rightly so. Outing a provider that may have something without a verifiable public report sets a horrible precedent for people that may do so because they don't like a provider for one reason or another. The same holds true for forum members. If a forum member contracts something it's up to them if they want to come forward or not and share that info. I don't say that lightly or to drive debate on whether they should or not, I can make the argument either way. Its THEIR choice, just as in the end it's up to each of us to decide where our INDIVIDUAL risk level lies.

If you are practicing safe sex for everything it shouldn't make much difference for you, condoms are remarkably effective in preventing transmission of everything. If you risk it, as I do with BBBJ, nothing anyone says is likely to change my mind. That's a choice for each of us to make.

The police have many seized vehicles of all sorts that they've kept over the years for situations like this. There's also supposed to be a Direct TV service truck in their inventory from a drug dealer. I remember 20 plus years ago the Milwaukee Vice squad used a limo for hooker busts. On Sunday, I had to do some running around early in the evening. I noticed a butt load of squads on S. 27th. As I was driving by, watched a squad come from the Suburban, drive to the Rodeway, and into that parking lot. About a half hour later, saw a squad out front of the Suburban and one coming out the back way.

Hope all stayed out of reach. I haven't mongered in that area in some time. No need to get pinched.

So, one of my favorite female friends is in desparate need of a place to live. Looking for a studio or 1 bedroom apartment. Would have to be conducive to visitors coming over. I took a quick look at Craigslist and had sticker shock in regard to rental prices. When I got married in 1973 I paid 85 bucks a month Not much out there under $700 a month Anyhow, if anyone has an idea would be greaty appreciated.

There's sometimes studios available for under $600 with utilities. One of my favorites upgraded to a one bedroom from one a few months ago.

HS.[/QUOTE]One of the problems that our friends have when they look to rent is that most landlords will require some type of employment verification. If they don't have a job they won't get the apartment. Difficult to explain that being a provider is more of a calling than a job.

That said; I am a half hour north of you and 2 BRs are in the 600 range. One bedroom crash pads are 400.

It is a high traffic area and visitors would go completely unnoticed.

My friend is in a goofy little 3rd story spot. Angled ceilings and a tiny bathroom. Pays $550. Also make an offer on rent prices. If it's empty now they will take anything over nothing.
