After Sfredbook was seized you'd see the DOJ emblem and notification when navigating to that URL (there was some great Calif talent on that board, hated to see it go). NightShift (and Backpage) closure few years later was accompanied by info in the press, as I recall. I agree with what others have said: a Denial of Service attack seems possible, or if admins are reverting to an earlier build Could be some sort of ransomware infection. All speculation of course; stay tuned.

I know a lot of people (as I'm sure you do) that make bank, yet somehow are always broke.

Maybe they have a pimp, maybe they are hooked on something, maybe they have kids, maybe they spend a lot on STI testing, who knows but a blanket statement saying every hooked should be well off seems unfair.

If these hookers are seeing 1 client a day at $300/ hr x 5 day x 52 weeks = $72 K / year. Then I asked, "you aren't giving all of your money away to someone else, are you? Her silence told me that she was. Meanwhile, her pimp "gives her" new hairdos, nails and make-overs, all with the money she's making. For this she's supposed to be appreciative. She knew nothing about stocks, real estate, crypto, nothing. So, yeah, it's true that even the average SW on the street is making a lot of money, however she isn't keeping that money. She hands it over to someone else and believes that this is the way it should be.

As the madame of Elliott Bay, Alex made a ton of money. She isn't destitute, but she's much less rich than she used to be. How?

I saw one girl from Alex, who used to work at Rick's, but didn't save any money, and needed to work for Elliott Bay. Unfortunately, she thought an Elliott Bay date was basically a strip show, she didn't kiss and gave a very lame excuse for a blow job. She asked me if I wanted to take her to Burger King afterwards, probably expecting donation extension payment. Turns out, I was the second guy she gave that bad clueless date to, and she was let go. Quite an egregious breach; I expect they're going to have to go a long ways back to restore a functioning site.

VBulletin is a pretty solid platform if well-managed, but it's very complex with a LOT of attack surface, especially if highly customized.

I for one have no gripe with the site. The moderation is biased and unprofessional, the reviews are 90% bullshit. But as a shopping catalog for experiences, it's without peer in this market.

I've been poking around the Reddit threads, some people are freaking-out over TNA being down, LOL. My opinion is that I hope it never comes back online. I wonder how much money that site was generating every month and if it's worth the ransom the hackers are asking. If it isn't, then bye bye. I used to poke around in there a bit but never really shopped there. Like most of you, I really came to dislike the overly-pro provider stance, the ridiculous alerts and the men who posted there. I've said this before, but I wonder how many of those weirdos will end-up here on this site, LOL?

I remember a thread from a couple of years ago where guys and providers were talking about security. Most were cavalier about it. This is yet another lesson. Oh fuckin well now.

Hobbying is new to me, so I'm looking for information from all sources. I just read the post about the street worker who was making bank but not investing that money into long term equity. My exes cousin made $2 K a day so I know there is money to be had.

I met a UTR locally, recommended by a fellow monger, a sweet BBW who really turned my world upside down. She did not want to come out yet. I was her first. If I had been thirty years younger I would have dated her. Sweet, funny, kind, cute. The full meal deal. We had a long conversation and she confessed to having an addiction she is wanting to beat. With a baby at home, living with her parents, and freshly divorced, she was going through a combination midlife crisis and reality check. We had so much fun we planned on going to the beach the following weekend. I gave her a donation for her college-aged child's care package, but she was not going to requ.

This was June 25th (ish). June 30 I got word that she overdosed and didn't make it. This is a tough one. I really cared about her as a person and talked to her about addiction. Having seen it in family members. She was determined to get clean.

Some mongers do care about their providers. As people. I sense that a number of you here have interacted with providers who are doing great damage to themselves and wish them to get help.

There is nothing like knowing the last person you played with has died. I would have preferred being at the beach with her.

If you pay, you become more attractive for future demands from these cyber criminals.

Change any relevant passwords, and as another poster suggested, test your email at "[URL]haveibeenpwned.com[/URL]" to see if it has been been compromised in a prior breach.

Burner numbers, burner email addresses, always connect to hobby sites through a VPN or Tor. Keep communication on the platform to a minimum, especially public comments, vary your sentence structure, word choice and grammar. Never use personal idioms.

She told me she made $1500/ day minimum and worked six days a week. This was mostly on the street supplemented with a little bit of internet work. By comparison, the average American makes a little over $100/ day. At that time last fall she was complaining that in Seattle she was "only" making $800/ day. I haven't seen her since and she doesn't seem to be in a hurry to come back up here after inquiring about her return. Most Americans would be absolutely over the moon about making $800/ day, LOL. Hell I day-trade crypto on the side for fun and can make $200/ day minimum pretty easily. Here she was all concerned about how she was going to live beyond the street and I was like, "you've got to be fucking kidding me. You can turn that kind of money around easily, you'd be a millionaire pretty quickly with the kind of money you're making". She was a complete and total deer in the headlights, man.

It was interesting because she told me that she grew-up in Oakland in a "bad neighborhood" where education wasn't the priority, making money was the priority. Everyone in the 'hood were living in section 8 housing, incomes were low or non-existent. Kids just wanted to make quick money, the long-term goal of education or learning about investing was too far out-there for most of them. They were in the now. She told me a classmate always had the latest expensive purses and shoes and asked her if she wanted to make money. That's how she ended-up working the street at 14 after school. She's in her mid-20's now. Think about all of that money she pissed-away or literally gave to a man after her hard day of sucking all of those dicks. After our conversation last fall she just looked at me as though she'd been hit with a brick.
