Having the servers in Canada would for sure make it at least a little harder on authorities in the USA To serve subpoenas and access the server data, but if they seriously wanted to get them they almost certainly could. Especially the feds. Definitely more hoops they would have to jump through. But with idiots like that guy in Seattle running around, who knows?
