We were making small talk and I showed her something on my phone, and then she took it from my hands. Then I said "can I have my phone back?" and she said she wanted me to pay her first. So I payed her 100 $ cash and 20 $ in Dunkin Donuts gift cards. She handed me my phone back. Then we started walking up to her room. Now I'm all paranoid because she was asking a lot of personal questions like what is your name (only told her my first), where I go to school, my major, etc. I just hope this doesn't come back to haunt me. What do you guys think?

Anyways, avoid at all cost. I was going to check here before I met her but I just forgot. Lesson learned.

As you've discovered, at the STG level, leave no distance between you and your bucks. You can show it, then give it when you're done. I always use a burner phone and leave that in my car too. I bring enough cash to the room as I'm going to need. I even leave my belt in the car.
