Nothing wrong with the $25 amount. If you look at the free mail bonus, it's prorata so the $50 or $75 gets you no more. Mojo and mingle is usually useless, so I ignore those bonuses. The extra FX points is all there is to compare, but if you look at $25 vs $75, you get only 1250 more points. Worth $12.50, so if you buy $25 three times instead of $75 one time, you lose out on $12.50, not a big deal.
So if you're the guy who wants to get good bang for the buck but feel that $75 is just too much of a plunge for you, just get the $25 deal and don't worry about missing out on the bonuses.
Also when you enter the card info into the site, you get awarded your free month and FX points instantly.
Finally, HD and Lowes doesn't allow you to burn store credit to buy a gift card. I recommend using cash so the purchase can't be traced back to a credit card.

A $25 gift card will grant you 30 days private mail as soon as you submit. Then you get 2500 fx points that are stored in your fx points tab. When your 30 days free private message is up, it'll tell you PM is out and ask if you want to buy more with FX points. You're free to click NO for as long as you want. Then the day you want to start using PM again, you can buy durations with your FX points by just trying to send a PM. It'll jump you to the buy page. The more duration you buy, the better the FX points / duration gets (more economical like a volume discount during your FX spend).
