I took the plunge at body spa last night, confirming that they are open a bit later than other places. Got there at about 10:20 but had to wait 20 min for provider. When my time finally came I was escorted to a ridiculoulsy small room with a massage table so small I almost laughed out loud. I paid my money and waited nude on the toy table for several minutes. The actual provider returned with my change and she was quite ugly to put it bluntly. The massage was ok and she never bothered to cover me with a towel. I could have used a little ball teasing or something to get my mind off her hagginess but the back side massage was mostly legit. A couple brushes and that was it.
By the time I turned over I managed to psyche myself up enough to a slight boner. She rubbed everywhere near the target but wasn't going for it until I made the first move. At the end she said, "Anything else?" and I moved her had toward my unit. She looked at me sternly, forcing me to look at her ugly mug again, "That's extra!" "20 bucks?" Then I got a mechanical HJ that was so bad I could hardly keep my erection.
I finally finished and she left the room. I waited on the table for a couple minutes expecting her to return with a hot towel. No such luck. I was left to soil in my own jizz. Not much attempt to remove the oil from the massage, either.
I will not return, but I had to satisfy my curiosity.

Anyone with info on el centro or imperial valley/calexico providers? Will be needing some relief when I am down there next week a couple days- thinking about mexicali but do not know the area and will be alone- not sure how smart that would be. Lemme know- 5

Mexicali is likely your best bet. While the low desert is a no mans land I have never heard of any retreats, rancheros or happy places in the El Centro, Brawley, etc areas. If you find one please share.
I have been to Mexicali and its much more low key than TJ. There are similar places, its just not as risky and tense as TJ can be.
I would check out the Mexicali forum for details on bars, etc.

I've been to the Asian Spa in Escondido of Escondido Blvd and 9th street. I drove by Sundance Spa too. But the place I can't find is Oriental Gardens some people have mentioned on this site. Where is it?

I just don't get it. Why do you guys take this kind of risk when TJ is half an hour away? If you lived in Seattle it would be one thing, but SHEESH!!!!
SAN DIEGO -- Eighteen men were arrested in San Diego for soliciting sex acts from undercover police officers posing as prostitutes, police said Tuesday.
The sting took place Monday as part of an effort by the San Diego Police Department to reduce the impact of street prostitution in the city, police Chief William Lansdowne said in a statement.
Seventeen vehicles were seized during the operation. The suspects were booked into San Diego County Jail.
The vice unit plans to conduct similar sweeps throughout the city in the future, Lansdowne said.
These autos will be sold at auction and all proceeds go to San Diego county law enforcement.

New police chief. Like any new hire, he has to make a splash and show "progress".
Mayoral election is coming. The candidates have announced themselves and the bumper stickers and annoying signs are showing up. We have a conservative incumbent mayor who would like another term. He will capitalize on any public, newsworthy morsel that will help him in the race. You can expect many more sweeps between now and then. Just like the war in Iraq and the presidential re-election. Just on a San Diego scale.

Chuponalgas, I don't think its the mongers from this board who are getting busted. In my mongering career I've pulled up unknowingly to three sting operations and drove away from each one unscathed. A SW will run up to your car and get in immediately. She doesn't want to be spotted by LE. If she doesn't immediately get in or goes to the driver's side for a discussion, you simply ask for directions or drive off. You don't even hint about sex, until she's in the car and your driving off.
As I've stated before from reading names of those busted in other sting operations, it's mostly Hispanic males who are getting busted in these sweeps. Obviously they don't read this board too much, or are infamiliar with the intriquicies of dealing with police decoys. Other than that you have the ocaisional newby who just doesn't know any better. I read once that the stings are geared to the newby's and those that don't know any better, with the goal being to stop them from continuing and becoming experienced and hard to arrest "pro-mongerers".

I spent three days down there in November. May I recommend "San Diego Bar" in Mexicali? It is out of the way, but a taxi can get you there.
There are a couple of other venues. PM me if you want more info, we did a pretty good survey.

Went to the Asian Spa off Escondido Blvd and 9th street. $50 for 1/2 hour. The girls name was "Cookie". Nice smooth skin. $60 for BJ. Nt bad. Maybe next time I will go for more. I'm going to Sundance Spa next and Oriental Gardens if I can find it.

I do agree with Chuponalgas! Why would anybody be so stupid to take the risk to be arrested when you can go to TJ and get it cheaper? In my opinion there are better choices there and it's cheaper too!

I agree with the TJ route. If you're within comfortable driving distance it makes sense to minimize your risks by going to TJ where the you or the chicas don't have to worry about LE.
It is certainly no place to let your guard down and the good sense you should be using State side should be used there also.
The prices seem to be edging upwards State side too. I'd love to get with Shy Sugar or her friend Diamond (further proof that Back is beautiful) but the numbers just don't work out for me.
When you crack down on SW's you pick up a lot of other illegal activity along with it even if prostitution is the less actionable of the offenses. You never know what you find in the streets and prostitution is as good as any place to look.
Just about every PD thinks that if you dry up the demand, the SW's will move on and this is usually the case. Just follow the posts.
The bit about the election year is also very very true, especially since so few of us actualy go to the polls and get these jerks out of office anyway, the politicians (an industry unto itself) are out to impress the people that DO vote.
Very very smart to have your tactics worked out to avoid being caught up in a sting. The less (or un)experienced monger will fall for the trap every time. The International Brotherhood Of Professional Mongerers (local 266(e)) membership would in most cases know better ;-)

Whats going on there? I grew up there but have been gone 11 years but may be going back. Broadway the north half used to see a lot and parts of NC. I dont see much in the forum about these places, are they dry?

National City/Chula Vista has been dead for quite a while. If am in the area I will take a quick cruise in National City. The cops ran a sting there a few weeks ago. I did see a few bsw's a last spring...

TJ: Occasinally I go TJ for street girls, but I find that by the time you pay for the girl and hotel it's about the same price. The other problem is that you usually get better service in the in the US. The quality of the street girls in TJ is low as well.
Pricees: They have gone up because a lot of the girls are from out of town and don't have pimps. Personally I try to find local girls, but it is much harder these days.
Demand: The prostitutes have left mainly because the cops cracked down so much. I don't think demand has dropped all that much.
Elections: The elections could have something do with the crackdown. My guess however is that the cops noticed a influx of girls and decided to crackdown.
