Mongers, is the hobby your only outlet in terms of women? Or do you have success with women outside the hobby, be it a pretty good love life at home or success at seducing women in everyday life? I'm just curious to know.
Mine is the refrain probably familiar to many of you, as far as that particular aspect of marriage went downhill after we were done having kids. Being 50-ish and average looking at best, I get very occasional IOIs (indicators of interest) from other women in everyday life, but nothing ever really materializes. There's one chick I know who I'm pretty sure I could turn into a FWB, but she has some mental health issues that could life a bit too interesting. So here I am.

I tried the girlfriend option. I found that she wanted to know where I lived, what my first and last name was, phone number, kids, where and when I work etc. Then she can use that info to cause drama for me. Playing in the hobby is much easier, especially since burner phones. The cost is comparable when you consider the time invested and count dinner, movies, wine etc. Oh and don't forget the workplace drama.

" As I said before, obviously you do not know me and thus are quite unqualified to throw out, in both your posts, flaming statements and acqusations about me.
As for advertising for her, absolutely, that's what we mongers do. Call it what you want, I call it sharing. I'm sure we mongers welcome that, that's what these forums consist of, and some do it very well, sharing the good or the bad. Though the fantasy is nice when you're with a provider, it's even better when they leave. My personal experience is as such, the sex at home is boring and it's nice to have a young body to play with. I don't love my wife any less but most women can't understand it's just sex to men. I've had side pieces on a regular for the past 10 yrs. I never try to hide the fact I'm married and I tell them point blank that I will Never leave my wife cause I love my kids and what I have in life. A couple I had to let go cause they got way too attached but I broke it off peacefully so there wouldn't be any repercussions at home. So far so good, knock on wood. I had great success with Ashley Madison but once that went belly up that's when I found this site. Hope this helps.

So as a new monger I have my nerves about enjoying this hobby. I wanted to get others opinions of the reality of these fears happening.
1) obviously the worst case is being caught by LE. But if care is taken how likely is this. I'm not interested in streetwalkers or car dates which seem to be the highest risk acts. What are the chances if a provider actually being LE? Certainly reduced risk by seeing well reviewed providers. But has anyone TOFTT actually been busted?
2) the wife finding my "monger bag". Would be hard to explain why I have a burner phone or condoms. Need to be extra careful with these items so they are not left where others can find them.
3) Disease. Keep it covered! Yea it's 99% effective, but there is still 1% bloody ineffective!
4) ripoff. This actually appears to be the most likely to happen. Especially if not seeing well reviewed provides. Seeing someone new is the highest risk. I don't take a wallet in with me and only the money I would have for the donation. I don't even wear jewelry.
5) physical beating. Stay away from providers where family or friends are around or "boyfriends" are around. But how many mongers have actually been roughed up?
Any other concerns to be aware of? And any comments on the above?

If your phone is found just say you became addicted to prescription pain pills after xxx happened in your life and were too embarrassed to tell her. You used the phone to contact your dealer. That may work. If the condoms are found you lose your kids and your house.

And as far as #3, I always get checked up after every encounter regardless.
