Theft. Ivory / Promise No Regrets
So, this one is really disappointing because she had been an honest reliable provider that I had seen for a while now. So, last week I had messaged Ivory and set up a date. I get there and she's in the parking lot. She comes over sits down in my car and explains she needs the money for a room. She's already got it booked online and she just needs to pay for it. She'll get the room and message me when she's ready. Fair enough. I'm a little annoyed but I send it and she goes in and I wait. . . And wait. . . Finally, she comes back and she's a little short on what she needed so I went ahead and sent her another $10 which I didn't mind doing and she goes back in and I'm back to waiting. . . And waiting. . . And waiting. Then I get a message her card was locked for some reason or another and she's trying to get it sorted with the bank.
It's almost an hour I've been in the parking lot waiting at this point and I have things to do so I give her a few more minutes to try and get it figured out and I need to go. I had things to do that I was already late for. Since I had seen her for a while now and never had any problems I went ahead and agreed we'd just do things another day. Shit happens. Sometimes it can't be helped. Plus, I figured she didn't have money for a room and I could to do her a solid so she wasn't stuck outside with no room.
I kept in contact with her for the next day or two and finally decided I'd swing in Friday night. Friday night I text to let her know I'm on my way and she asks for a few extra minutes to get cleaned up. I get there at the time she asked me to and text her that I'm there. Nothing. Ten / fifteen minutes later another text. Still nothing. Five more minutes I go ahead and call. You guessed it, more nothing! A bit more waiting and I just give up. I thought maybe she fell asleep or something wanting to give her the benefit of the doubt but I get home and she had been posting ads left right and center the entire time I was outside waiting. I tried texting and calling a few more times that night and a few times the following day and almost 48 hours later not a single call, text, singing telegram, or anything to apologize or explain what happened.
I'm a fairly understanding person and it takes a lot to get me to write a negative review about one of the girls I see. Outright theft is where I draw the line and even though I've been able to get the money back since I sent it through CashApp it's still an incredibly shitty thing to do. Naturally I disputed the charges with my bank and the money has been returned, most likely at the cost of my CashApp account when it's all said and done but those are easy enough to get. It's just shitty that she'd just take my money and ghost me like that after I was cool about things going to shit a few days prior. I'm most annoyed at having wasted probably 3-4 hours all totaled driving and waiting for nothing.
