Here's my thought. I don't know your personal situation, many have different travel and flexibility restrictions. But IF you can get away for a weekend, and have at least a little money (not a lot). Get up to NYC Queens / Flushing. Train can be real cheap (like 50 each way). Buses are even less, crazy. Book a bus ride, or train trip. Finding a place to stay is a little more, maybe 150. So your in a little bit up front.
So much craziness going on up there. This one spot, I'll I'm you if you really take up on the idea; myself and other mongers familiar with up there refer to it as the Costco for p**sy. Just walk up, ring buzzer. Never have to call ahead (you can, there is a number to text, they send you status if you ask). But you don't have to, just walk up.
