Well gentlemen I've been hanging around for the last few months just reading and learning from everyone. I figure it is time to contribute. But if you know anything about addiction, giving any amount of money that would enable an addict to buy their drug of choice is only sending them deeper into their misery. I happen to know a lot about the disease of addiction and you can't just drive an addict to a treatment center and think they're going to be okay with it. That is an absolutely ludicrous statement! When acts of kindness (a McDonalds meal or coffee if you will) are framed by a transaction, the transaction part pretty much nullifies the sense of good will being imparted. And when the recipient is a drug addict, and the transaction is sex, it is more likely to have the opposite effect.
All you're doing is validating even further that selling their body and buying drugs is working. It's pretty hard to feel less like a piece of meat in that scenario.
