You can also right-click the image, click Properties, and the web address of the image will be there to copy and paste into Tineye.

Tin Eye does not look for the image. It looks for the url. You will hardly get a response uploading an image you have downloaded.

A positive hit on Tin Eye shows where the url has appeared before besides the url where you found it. But that needs to be interpreted with common sense to have meaning. By itself a positive hit means nothing.

Finding that a pic on an escort site also appears on facebook (or some other site) could mean (1) it is the same woman at both places (2) a different woman at both places (3) the pic you saw on the escort site was pirated by the woman on facebook (4) the facebook woman pirated the the escort pic (5) both women pirated the same pic. So it raises more questions and answers nothing other than give you pause that something may be amiss.

I've found the best help from Tin Eye is where an escort pic is on a dating site. Because a lot of the escorts are on dating sites also I interpret that to mean just that. Still, there is interpretation involved.

About the only clear answer from Tin Eye is where the pic turns up on an internet display of hot women. That is the best indication the pic is not of the escort.

Also some girls post on the "better" directories at $$$ and on craigslist at $.5 with different phone numbers so calling her from one number or the other tips her off how you found her and she knows what you are expecting. So call the less expensive number.

Bottom line, Tin Eye by itself is not conclusive and even with other information is seldom conclusive that the girl you are looking at has or does not have authentic pics on her profile. It is more fun than informative.

There is a warning about them in another section of the Indianapolis forum.
