Good advice and lessons here
It's important to know what you sign up for when you play in this league. You've got to add the "amortized" cost of some percentage of these losses to figure your average cost per encounter. All of the things below have happened either to me or someone I know. You can minimize the risks, but should know that they're still there. And a moment's distractions can come with some cost. Of course there's always the alternative of choosing well-recommended escorts, paying 5 x more and knowing that there are a lot less variables and risk.
Some cities have done a good job of setting the expectation that the money gets paid AFTER the event. This requires discipline from all of us, or it won't work. (AND it requires not ripping them off by not paying when they're done, even if the service was sub-par.) That would help all of us, but it requires thinking with the big head, and exerting some discipline over the little one, being willing to pass on someone who's adamant, knowing that there're more "fish in the sea. " Not bloody likely, but a good goal. Also, I've found that those gals who're willing to accept me showing them the money and paying afterward (using using the possibility of a tip as enticement) have a better attitude and I enjoy the experience better.
Yes, this has happened numerous times. It's part of the game. One has to be wary of anyone new they run across. Funny it happened to you in her motel room, you'll have to provide more detail. Usually, they fiddle fvck around like that in the car. I usually don't like to drive to "their favorite" spot because they can run and hide in their hood after paying up front. I usually try to go where they would have a long walk if they made a dash for it.
Don't beat her or yourself up about it, it's only a small amount. I've lost many small amounts like that. I've had gals pick my pants pocket a couple times while distracting me with their oral skills. The first time I lost my LV wallet never to be seen again, the second time the gal just took the money out and dumped the wallet between the car seats. I noticed it missing right when she got out and confronted her as she was walking away and she said it was "between the seats", all the money was gone, everything else still there. What can you do, beat them up, run them over? It's not worth it. Then I learned to hide my wallet. One time I went to hide it after pulling money out and she seen where I stashed it behind the passenger seat in the map / newspaper pocket. During the "distraction" I felt the need to check where my wallet was stashed and ran across an arm back there, continued to feel down the arm to a hand and down the hand to my wallet. I twisted my wallet from her fingers, obviously that sort of killed the moment for both of us. She was one of the Uinta girls, that's why I'm never too excited to pick them up. Now I just pull out enough money that I'm willing to spend, like a couple twenties in my shirt pocket and smaller change in my pants pocket. That way I can sort of pull out what is needed from different pockets and not show all my cards. I learned a long time ago "hookers are not change machines", like the bus, always have correct change.
As for motel rooms, I don't really like them. If I do go I ask if anyone else is going to be there because if see anyone, I'm turning around and getting out. Then I check all the closets, bathroom etc for anyone. I've been to rooms where someone knocks on the door and the stupid b!tches lets them in, boyfriend come in and I'm already paid up and then she asks me to leave, I've had knives pulled on me cause some crack head guy thought we were smoking crack in the bathroom and he wanted some. In my early days, I've let gals get out to run in and get something in a motel room after I paid them, never to be seen again. Many times, I've had gals hold me hostage in my own vehicle when the b!tches demanded more money or they weren't going to get out. They demand more money cause we couldn't strike a deal and they felt their time was valuable or services rendered were up-charged. After way too many of those I learned to carry a can of pepper spray in a handy location in my vehicle. One gal demanded more money or she wouldn't get out and I pulled out the pepper spray and pointed it at her, she looked and said "Oh, now you're going to pepper spray me, hmmm?" and then she directly proceeded to opened the door and get the fvck out (another Uinta girl). Didn't even have to use it, the best thirty bucks I ever spent. I wish I had it in my second vehicle yesterday if you read my story (another Uinta girl). You have to always remind yourself that those are desperate people out here and that will take your shit without a conscious. On that happy note, take care.
