Had 10 days off of work, which has given me some time to monger on the Avenue quite a bit, but been really disappointed in the action there. Over the last week, noticed things to be more active off the Ave. Particularly walkers on Erie from I to D, Lehigh west past the Temple Hospital over towards Fairhill Square (bunch of them in the Wendy's parking lot), all of the major streets east (Westmoreland, Ontario, Tioga, Venango) and finally, Aramingo from Cumberland to Lehigh. Maybe it's always been this way and I'm rather new to town, but it does seem to be spreading out a bit.
Had two different girls say things have gotten more dangerous on the Ave. There's some really bad dope going around this week with tons of ODs (at one point I counted 4 different ambulances on the Ave at one time), and also someone claiming to be a cop raping girls. Don't know if that is real, dope paranoia or what, but at least some of them are looking for alternative streets.
Since Monday, also a lot of LEO activity on the Ave from Alleghany north to Ontario: bikes, foot patrol, unmarked cars, and several girls that had to be undercover.

She said this guy tried to stab a girl he picked up off the ave about a week ago but she escaped and survived.

Has anyone spotted or spent time with a long, silver-haired lady, appears to be late 30's early 40's, spotted walking this morning between Lou's and Sedgley? Now some guys have asked me, how do you tell a girl who is possibly a Utr from a civilian? I've never understood that question. It is blatantly obvious to me a woman who is misbehaving from civilians going about their business. Civilians don't walk super fast to cop or away from the corner having just copped. Civilians aren't paranoid of who is watching them. They aren't looking in all directions as they walk. Civilians aren't stopping to talk to the obvious addicts about where is best to cop that day or who has works. Etc. Etc. I know some on the board dislike the use of the term Utr but I personally only look for Utrs. I define a Utr as a girl who prefers to work from her phone and not jump into cars.
