I've posted about it before so I won't go into detail again here. Some establishments are better than others, but don't expect any of them to be squeaky clean. Stuff I've seen and heard of can range anywhere from downright disgusting to "not too gross but still would get shut down or at least cited by the health department if they were to be inspected. ".
That being said, I haven't heard too many cases of people getting sick or catching anything either, so there's that. It hasn’t stopped me from mongering, but I’m conscious of where I go and stay with the places on the higher end of the cleanliness spectrum as much as possible.
