So I was being lured into getting a dating app or apps. She would not take cash even with a verifying picture. Sometime you can take a picture of the cash along side a spare phone with the date and time showing to show good faith. Not good enough. Anyone else run into this scam?

Once you download that app, it's usually spyware, tracking everything you do on your phone, bank accounts, credit cards, Samsung pay etc. Be careful only download the text apps you know and trust.
You can download as little as a picture to your phone, and it can contain spyware. You read about it in the news every day.
Be careful don't ever send a picture of cash, you are setting yourself up to get nailed by a LEO.

Once you download the app they can get your contact list, credit card info, banking, and debit card passwords, there is no limit. Also, some food for thought, if it's a LEO sending you the app, a gps will be in your phone, watching everywhere you go.

Could be LEO, could just be scammers.

I'm assuming these are scammers and not LEO, to the extent there's a difference, but I don't know for sure because I don't contact them. Katie maintains her number, and I just text it if I want to see her, so don't look for the ads.
One thing I don't understand about all the scammers on LC is that I thought they required the posters to show a pic of themselves with their IDs to post now. In fact, sometimes the women slip up and include those I'd / face pics in their ads. And yet, despite this, there are all these scammers posting.
