Sometimes it's not the place. It could be you?
A guy that served in the Corps with me lives in Jacksonville. Straight up AA that's super cool. He went with me when I was in town and he wore gym shorts. After He hung out and chilled for a while he was back in the VIP in no time. Whether you're black brown white or green act like you belong. That goes for anywhere. If you are uncomfortable it shows and dancers will avoid you because it takes them out of their euphoric mood they have to muster to show their pussy to a room full of strangers. By the way, wackos is awesome. AA chick named hearts and the VIP for 4 songs and it was better than an escort. Your boy Satisfaxxxion made the recommendation and was my Jedi guide during my trip.
I have been to strip clubs in the most heinous parts of the world. I mind my own business, order a drink, and I get comfortable so I don't come off uptight. Girls can sense that shit. Or, they sense an air of thug. Either way your balls will be dry.
I went to an all AA place in BMore back in March. I was not getting any love. Finally, a dancer walks over and says who are you a retired detective! I said no, I'm his accountant. 3 hours later she was looking out over the inner harbor as I was drilling her from the balcony of my hotel. It's not about the place it's about you.
Glad you got some action and had a good time, Mike. I'll def be in touch the next time I go to Vegas.
As for the ongoing discussion in general, does race play a role in the hobby? Absolutely. Look at all the escort ads that say "no AA" or something to that effect. It's there. But it's also really easy to tweak a stripper's radar for other reasons, too. I'm a clean cut, middle aged white guy and when I first walk in a club I don't get much play because I come across as too uptight. The thing is, I know it. So I make it a point to get a drink or two in me and loosen up, and then I have no problem.
All the times I've been to Wacko's, in particular, I can recall leaving dry twice. It doesn't happen often but it does happen. I've hit a lot of clubs all over the country, and I almost always get extras or a number or two for takeout. I think there are two reasons for that: I treat the dancers like people instead of commodities, and I don't try too hard.
Whatever race you are, if you go into a club just relax and at least act like you're having a good time. Tip at the stage and make conversation while you're there. Invite her over to join you and maybe offer to buy her a drink when she does stop by. Just be cool. Don't stress about extras. It will happen or it won't, and stressing over it just creeps them out. That's what works for me, at least. YMMV.
