Well, bear in mind that to shoot porn legally you have to comply with Federal Regulations (USC Title 18 Section 2257 and CFR Title 28 Part 75) which would require both parties to sign model releases, privacy statements, have their ID copied and filed, fill out terms of use statements, and comply with any local obscenity ordinances. I can't imagine to many mongers complying with that to have a legal roll in the hay.

Part of the reason most porn is shot in Cali is because ordinances are relatively friendly, and the region is just sort of set up for it. Like Bavaria for BMWs ;)
