i know this might be kinda late, but about two weeks ago in escondido, i was leaving the parking lot of a supermarket, and was watching two obviously **** girls solicite guys. they both had super short mini-skirts and stripper shoes. after i had seen them talking to a couple different guys in cars, i drove out of the parking lot as they were walking thru the driveway. they both turned around and headed for my car. they wanted to know if i wanted some fun and if i could give them a ride. i asked them if they had run away from home, and they both said yes, and that they needed some cash. they said they knew what they were doing, but i told them to go home to they`re moms instead! they were both under 16, and maybe younger.

knuckle head "officials" need to know that if there are, in fact **** sws out there, it's not a "self esteem" or "need to belong" issue.
try these issues on for size:
1. no money
2. nobody to give them money.
3. no job.
4. nobody will give them a job (insert reasons here).
5. no leadership
6. nobody willing to give them leadership (insert reasons here).
7. no opportunity.
8. nobody will give them an opportunity (insert reasons here).
bad enough to be on this side of the hobby. can we be responsible for making sure that they are safe at our hands? yes. do we? i do. never take an under age sw. never. you will do time.
ladies know that they are sitting on a moneymaker. if they are clean they can do very well. us mongerers have saturated this board with experiences of value for money and rip offs so they are a fact of life; not only in this arena but at fucking walmart.
when i see a 17% turnout at the election polls it's not hard to understand how this fucked up group "think" creeps into public policy. will we ever learn?
it's the same old story. us mongerers are responsible for enticing the girls out to the street. bullshit.

picking up **** girls also gives prostitution a bad name and gives the cops a good reason to crack down.

Cops Dress As Streetwalkers, Snare 20 Men

SAN DIEGO -- Police arrested 20 men Tuesday after they offered to pay for sex acts from undercover cops posing as streetwalkers.
Vice officers confiscated 15 vehicles during the operation. All of the suspects were booked into County Jail.
The operation was conducted by the department's vice unit in the city's western division, which includes the neighborhoods of Hillcrest, University Heights and North Park.

In any case it just goes to show you that the cops will most likely nail the person who just happens to be driving by and picks up a girl. The lesson here is that it pays to check out the situation first.

Yes, i did see the sting that night(tuesday night), i was lucky so. First, i saw two girls standing right outside of the motel by Texas street, and the other two walking east to the restaurant, i came from west bound of ECB. I made a u turn by the restaurant go around behind the motel on the ally, there i saw a cop car with head light on arresting a jon and a black step van on the parking lot of the furnitures store, i pretending passing by, slowly passing cop car, made a left turn to ECB, by the conner of the motel there was another cop car and black step van waiting. I said that it's, let get the fuck out of this area. Guys careful out there, make sure rounding behind the area once before pick up a girl, that was my way of picking up SW for the last twenty years.

No offense to anyone on this board, but anyone gets busted by LE for attempting to solicit a prostitute probably deserves to get caught in my opinion! Think about it, us experienced mongers all know the simple rules.
My basic rule of thumb is simple. I make eye contact and smile, maybe a wave. Not a damn thing more until she sits her ass in my car! PERIOD! If she won't get in your car then leave! I don't give a damn how hot she is, LEAVE! Drive off. If you find yourself caught in a conversation with a girl standing on the corner and she won't get in your car, then ask her a stupid question like directions to some place. DO NOT EVER DISCUSS ANYTHING SEXUAL, NOT EVER UNTIL SHE IS IN YOUR CAR AND HAS DRIVEN WELL OUT OF THE AREA~! Get it? Once out of the area, still do the LE check, do not discuss anything about money or for what until these things have been done!
Now when you pull up on these undercover cops, they will try and talk sex with you and then ask you what you want to pay, etc,etc, just ignore them. All real working girls know this too. They know Johns are well aware of this, therefore chances are, if she does not hop right in your car, she is LE.
Man this cracks me up, when I read these reports about 20 or 30 guys getting burned this way. I really did not know there was that many stupid people out there.
Now even if you pickup a real working girl, you still need to make absolutely for sure that no one followed you, or pulls up on you. You can still be busted if you get caught in the act.
I have a real problem with the way LE conducts themselves regarding prostitution. It's my OPINION they break way too many laws themselves to catch people. They get frustrated because more and more Johns are cautious and don't fall for their silly traps. So they end up breaking the rules themselves. I read a report about one motorist who was arrested for just driving by an undercover LE hooker. He drove by her slowly, checking her out a few times, but never stopped or asked her anything! They busted him. The case was thrown out, be he had to get an attorney and everything else.
The cops like to ASSUME things when running these stings. "well you drove by twice, you were checking her out, you talked to her, you must have been intending to proposition her" etc, etc,
I have even heard of cases where they have attempted to arrest guys for simply picking up a working girls. People get pulled over and harassed all the time, even if their not actually in the act of sex!
So all in all, you must be cautious and remember LE sometimes likes to cheat! So be careful!

I did a fly by of ECB last evening. It was in the 7-8pm time. There were a few girls, a couple of WSW between 805 and Texas that looked too young or methed out. Just looked too skinny. There were some pimps on the corner acting like fools by the Blockbuster. A lame scene.
Frankly I am not a street monger. It is too whacky, weird people, etc. I partake from time to time but it's not a regular thing. Frankly as jammed up as the traffic is on ECB in the evenings I don't see how anyone could tolerate cruising in the first place.

Getting Tang, Excellent report and great advice. I've spent quite a bit of time reading reports of stings around the country and in California and there's one thing I've noticed from reading the names of the Johns: about 90% of them seem to be Hispanic. But its my opinion (and I have absolutely no data to back me up) that most mongers are white. So I think we've done a good job of informing some of the hobbiest's but somehow need to get the message across to our brethern from the South. I don't like to see anyone get busted. Maybe its a cultural thing (I don't know) and they think since it's not a big deal down there it must not be up here. In fact most of the world probably can't believe the lengths our police force in America will go to to prevent a working stiff from getting a little pussy.

Civ2000, good observation. Never noticed the Hispanic ratio on the bust numbers.
What I find most annoying about these busts are the way the go about it. I'm all for cleaning up gangsters and gun toting drug dealers, but I honestly see no harm in a guy paying for a little sex. I think major cities across America should allow designated areas for the trade to legally take place. I could ramble on for hours about this topic, but I won't.
All I can say, is men or the male species in general don't just want or like sex. WE HAVE TO HAVE IT!" It's the most natural normal thing we humans do in our lifetimes. We have sex. This includes cops too. Now for some guy, he might have wife at home with kids and a career and be a damn good tax paying citizen, with a mother and family that loves him. you get the picture. The old wife, for some reason aint giving it up anymore. Rather then dump his wife leave his family, he goes and and pay for a little SAFE sex. Drops a C note for a much needed release. No harm...........oops, he gets busted by some rookie over motivated cop. He losses his car, then his job, wife dumps him, gets an attorney sues him for everything he ever worked for. she turns the kids against him, he can't get work anywhere because his name and photo was on television. All for a "crime" that hurt absolutely NOBODY!
This is absolutely disgusting, in my opinion. That is just one of a thousand scenarios! It's simply wrong. We all need sex, we were made that way. If two consenting adults want to trade, or be paid, or just have sex for the sake of sex, it should not be the governments business! Sex is personal, private, natural act, it is not a fricken CRIME, that warrants all the above happening to you!

Tonight on Ch 5 Ricky Lake did "Girls Gone Wild" Interviewed 3 teenage prostitutes and their mothers. Starting at age 13. One escort putting herself through school.

Geez, things sure have changed since I was growing up, and I'm just 36 years old!

Coincidentally found myself flying the length of ECB because 8 was such a mess this evening. *yawn* boring. Nothing to speak of. I took one for the team and checked out Shanghai. Again *yawn*. Nothing.
Man, its like the PD is actually putting a dent in the fun of SD city. One thing for sure, their tentacles can't reach into TJ... yet.

I don't think that the level of prositution has really dropped all that much recently. Sure there is a lot less prostitutes then there was in the 80's. The big thing that has changed is the quality and price. These days there seems to be lesser quality at a higher price. There is also a lot more out of town girls there used to be.
