I think 90% are spammers but you will find a few that give a phone number on the add. I quit trying adds with no contact info and won't respond to any requiring pictures.

Most of these are listed in several different city's so they don't have to edit them at all.

If they have pics and they look too good to be true, they are too good to be true.

I would say "put your favorite color in the subject line" or "tell me the city where you are located" to see if a real person ever responded to the ad. And they did not respond accordingly.

However, there are other scams like bait & switch or notel & rob on craigs list so Caveat Emptor.

I have run numerous CL ads over the years. Its not very hard to tell the spammers from the legit replies (and there are not many of those! I am usually pretty picky and careful about who I choose to see. As far as the fakes, I prefer to chat with anyone that might sound legit, and I firmly believe if you give the thieves / fakes enough rope they will eventually hang themselves. However, there are some hotties out there that will answer ads. I once met a Hooter gal, a former college cheerleader, and several college co-eds. Just be very careful, and by all means think with the big head.

I often use CL to find free pu $$why, yes it takes more time and is more involved than just calling a working girl. But nothing beats FREE. It's always good to have a couple backups you can call last minute when the massage doesn't provide proper therapy.
