Well, it IS something, and my pecker and balls are in agony. And my pecker has all these little lumps on it. It's gotta be herpes. As cringing in pain due to an "accident" that ain't gonna fly as I will have to do this for ever as herpes can be spread without lumps or sores present. Actually, I quit to retire. There goes retirement, the house, relaxation ... They have already replaced me with a good person. This "fling" was my parting favor to myself. I have virtually no mongering history. Now this.

well std's are fairly rare. especially if the woman was always covered. most liekly it is nothing.
have you talked to the woman who you think gave it to you? find her and ask her if she is ok or has had any positive tests.

Crazy Jim Wood ~ I emailed her first off and she went ballistic! I was very nice and suggested she get tested. She said she does and "just because you had a drip, you're freaking out." No drip. Told her the three other tests were negative.

Still no report back.

Don, have you seen a urologist about this, or just had testing done at a clinic? A urologist may be able to diagnose your symptoms and answer the questions you have about the mysterious pains--now that you've tested negative for infection. As has been stated, a lot of things can go wrong with your nads and penis. Very complex plumbing. Tubes can become twisted or ruptured, you could have a cyst, you could have a non-venereal urinary infection. It goes without saying you should also have your prostate double-checked. On a positive note, you're probably off the hook about being outed because of venereal disease, and there's no blame for the above mentioned ailments, however painful. Good luck to you, sir.

It could also be a back injury or injury in the pelvic area or injury to an abdominal muscle etc. A nerve could be pinched in any of those areas, or inflammation of a nearby muscle could be radiating to the genitals. There are nerves in the lower mid/upper lower back for the genitals so you could have pinched a nerve there which might make you feel pain in your genitals.
I suppose you could have a hernia also.
You could get an ultrasound of the genital area, make sure there is no cyst or something, varicose veins, etc. An ultrasound could do that.
Be sure to let us know how you fare! No doubt there are other guys out there avidly reading your posts as they attempt to self-diagnose on the internet.
I am so disapointed in the medical profession in general. They give us sloppy treatment, charge an arm and a leg, and don't really answer our questions or treat us with dignity and respect.
That being said, if the dr says don't worry, it's nothing, after you do all your tests, hey, you have some type of change in your body but it does not correspond to the most common human ailments, so don't worry about it!

I'm more than a little concerned for DD. His first post sharing his plight showed some real stress he was feeling. Although this last post of 12/10 was more optimistic, he has not posted since then. Also, he has not replied to two PM's that I sent him, which is very uncharacteristic of DD. Finally, if you look at his profile, he has not logged on since that 12/10 posting, which is not at all like him. I've shared info. back and forth with DD in PM's over the last couple of years and have found him to be a really good guy, so I'll be much relieved if he comes back on board to indicate all is well.

Hey i too heard and private message the guy as well. Go to a health food store or vitamin store and tell them that your wife has a yeast infection. Find some tablets to remove yeast and start taking them 3 times a day. In the meanwhile, cut out beer and bread, pizza and other items with yeast.

Shit, this has been a REAL cause of nerves, lack of sleep, and worry. I don't remember lifting anything really heavy or straining myself, so who knows? I did help someone move some appliances around this time and some exercises, so I hope that was the problem.

Seriously though, most of my experiences have been the massage HJ type, occasionally I have partaken in FS. I most sincerely apologize for the drama I brought to the board and to this woman. When a doctor told me that I more than likely had an STD of some sort, I panicked, plain and simple. This was compounded by the fact that I had incredible genital pain. When firsts tests came back negative, he even had me retested. Scared shitless, I made horrid decisions. I am truly sorry.

After seeing three doctors and having thousands of dollars worth of tests, it was discovered that I have nerve damage that affects my genitals. The pain mimics that of some STDs, but one doctor told me that reason he knew I didn't was an STD was that the pain lasted so long. Only recently has it started to subside.

It's humiliating and humbling that so many people have heard from me at my very worst.

If you were not dinning at the Y how did you get it on your lip? STDs that a rubber does not protect you against tend to be skin to skin contact. If you received a BBBJ it will not show on your lip. If you ate her out that is another thing, if your were Kissing them could be herp 1 but that anyone can get. Until you are tested you never know. I had some scares myself turned out to be nothing. Your mind plays a lot on that.

Herpes is a virus that can infect any mucous membrane (think oral, genital or anal). Herpes simplex I and II while preferring oral and genital in that order, can infect any of the membranes mentioned. Yes, once you get it, it inserts its DNA into your chromosomes, and you have it for life.

About 80% of the population has oral herpes, and 25% has genital herpes. We are more likely to know the source of our genital infection. Lesions can appear on the outside (fever blisters, cold sores, etc) or on the inside (sore spot on the tongue, etc). Oral to genital transmission is relatively common, tho proper use of condoms are effective protection for a date giving a BJ.

If there is a good news item, the severity of flair ups seems to decline after the first VERY painful and uncomfortable infection.

HappyDave's post is a list of the worst case scenarios for transmission (it even suggests oral transmission of HIV for where there is almost no convincing evidence. But see note below about Herpes and HIV.)

Yes--this hobby carries its risks, and activities need to be within risk boundaries you are willing to accept. Herpes is an annoyance, but hardly life threatening. Clap and syphilis are dangerous, but (to this point) treatable. HIV is a whole different story. BTW, Herpes lesions may well make you more susceptible to HIV infection.

It goes a long way to
1) judge the cleanliness of your 'date', (Hey--if she has sores on her mouth or especially giner, turn her out!),
2) keep yourself clean,
3) thoroughly wash up after the date, and be aware of signs of STDs.

Accept the (even minimized) risks or give up the hobby.

I will say this -- The sores I had were relatively painless, not much different than a regular pimple or ingrown hair. I am still convinced that it is herpes though.
