Yes there are several shuttles from the airport to all casino hotels. The doors are clearly marked by the bagage pick-up. The monorail is very unreliable but the bus called the duece go up and down the strip.

Thanks for the help[/QUOTE]One thing to remember if walking the strip, the hotels look a lot closer than they are. And walk from the Saraha to MGM or Mandalay Bay is a decent stroll, especially if it's hot.
I've always found it better to rent a cheap car for $20-25 a day, and it's usually just a few dollars more than a cab ride from/to hotel/airport.

Yeah, the walk from Sahara to anything is butt far. You have a monorail station there though.
And remember that parking is free at every casino. Cars are cheap and a single taxi ride can easily cost as much as a full day rental. The monorail is only $8 for a day pass in the summer, but it doesn't go everywhere.
After doing some more research, I guess I will rent a car. I will still do some walking since it seems you can catch a girl while walking on these bridges.

Myself, I think that's your best bet. It's not like downtown Miami with the people movers, trains, etc. going all around everything. In other words the public trans sucks and can be very limiting. The monorail is pretty much in the far back of few casinos, shuts down late at night (midnite, I think?) and, I think, would be a pain in the ass, in the long run.
Besides, with a car you have so much more freedom to do what you want (Red Rock, Lake Mead, cruise "The Rock", etc) at any time of day or nite and you can just shuttle right over to pick one up after your in-flight and be on your way.

Anyhow, cars require lot of back and forth walking if you're just on strip monorail is quick and cheap with pass. Taxis are quick and easy and about $10 to strip casinos. These days I'the just get a car if I knew I was going off strip and it's easy to get a car at most hotels anyhow. Deuce is another option if you have time and don't want to walk. I used to get a car and have gone to taxis, got to my hotel in 20 min last time which beats the 90 min it took me last time with center and all.

I'm still not very well-versed at being a fly-in tourist to Las Vegas, having only moved from there 1.5 years ago and I still prefer to drive the 700 miles (at this point). I guess that would translate to me being 'unqualified to comment' but if just locking down on the strip, I guess there are a few trans options. The last time (many years back) I took a weekend strip bus, it took me over an hour to go from the Barbary to the Stardust and it still leaves a sour taste for me.
My problem is in still thinking like a local with the shortcuts and "other options" available by car and seem to stay off-strip when I go back.

I have recently been asked by some photographer professionals to help scout out talent. It turns out there are a lot of girls looking for work in Vegas and not only are they hot, but they have few inhibitions.
I know some of you really like taking pictures and that the escorts etc aren't always into that.
I'm not talking about a front for an escort service or anything like that. I'm talking about a legit opportunity to pull out the camera and get some great pictures.

I took the wife and kids there this afternoon. Guess what happens..........i'am walking around holding one of my sons hand, the wife is a few steps behind me holding my other kid hand. This chick named jill that was a regular for me 2 years ago that i have not seen since cuz she disappeared, spots me and approaches me. Like a idiot she doesnt see my kid and realize this is a bad time. She approaches me and calls my name.
When she approaches me, i give her the look [B]"You say one word i will kill you"[/B] look. She says hi and i introduce her to the wife as a lady that works in one of the offices i frequent for my job. After the intro The lightbulb goes on over her head and it dawns on her what is going on and she plays along. We did the small talk thing and she moved on.

Happened to me too man! Only thing is, I was with co-workers. We are taking a small lunch break at popeyes on Sahara. In comes, Sue (from the adjoining Terrible store) and starts talking to me and calling me by my monger name. Fortunately, we were in line, so I was able to quickly divert the conversation while drifting off from the line with her. As we are drifting, I'm talking enough so they can hear me....with the "haven't seen you in a while my dear", "how has life been?"....not giving her much time to respond.
When we get away from the group near the soda machines...I tell her I cannot talk, and she understood (whew!). Told her to give me her number, and I will call. I gave her a "nice to see you friend" hug and we move one.
Thankfully my co-workers were dense headed. One did say, why did she call you jason? I responded, she said "hey son"...since she calls me "son". Straight bullshit...but as I said...they were dense headed.
R.I.P. Figured this was a little off-topic, but wanted to mention it. I may come off as some obsessed psycho stalker, but her death really got to me for some reason. Wholly preventable and tragic. Might have been her sweet disposition bringing out the 'Gotta save her' mentality that is entirely useless when dealing with girls in any business that has to do with sex. But I still wish I could have tried. Oh well. Chico Wang, watch your back.

This is a late late late response but my own personal experience of that bar was very good (on 3 separate trips I now call it my lucky vegas bar). Though not with any of the hostesses. I honestly would not be shocked if some were negotiable.
If you clean up nice and can talk a little chat. I find that place to be an absolute goldmine (more ammo for those people thinking yes this guy is full of BS. I've been comped into Pure from there with 3 girls. The details escaped me. I probably paid $$$ for the whole night but had a blast. Maybe they knew what they were doing)
Anyway. I know this is the off topic section of the LAS but I guess this is a little more off topic.. I always recommend the sea horse to my friends as a drop in (though it is WAY WAY off the strip. Don't let the walkways fool you! )
