Auditors Are Wrong on Legal Point
Auditors are advising people to state, "I don't answer questions" when questioned by LE. However, this is a mistaken legal point. Of course, the government is run by attorneys and it rewards people for utilizing services of same. Thus, the Supreme Court has ruled that if one states he doesn't anwer questions they can go over the fact the he was silent to a particular question which then opens the door for prosecutor to argue guilt by silence on the issue. Instead, pursuant to Supreme Court precedent, the unequivical statement asking for an attorney is the point wherein the fifth amendment's right of prohibition to self incrimination takes place. Said another way, demanding an attorney is preferable as a response to the interrogation as opposed to not answering or stating something. Moreover, statements such as equivical requests for counsel I. E. "do I need an attorney"; "I might need an attorney"; etc. Are not sufficient and the unequivical demand for an attorney is required.

To me it's a business transaction, just like when I go to the hardware or grocery store.
