I watched them hop in vehicles then drive a block away only to get swarmed by squad cars then the girl would be right back on the same corner.

This tripped me out! In my redbook days we had rules like no window talking, don't pick up girls that won't get in your vehicle because LE would not risk a hostile situation like that. Here they seem to do it. Made me a lot more cautious.

I moved here from out of state but have lived here for a few years now. I'm very experienced and have enjoyed the hobby in many states. My first experience in Cali was on Harbor and it definitely tripped me out. My first night I didn't pick up any girls because they were all standing on corners (not walking) and they all wanted to talk outside of the car. Like you mentioned every state I've ever been in girls hop in immediately without talking if they don't get in the car right away I assume something is wrong and drive off.

It's different out here. The girls want to know what they're getting up front as to not waste their time. The funny thing is until your post I assumed this was just the way it is in all of Cali I didn't realize this was just the way things were done locally. Harbor is bizarre It's the only place I've ever seen where girls dress like working girls in the movies and on occasion you can literally spot girls who are straight up naked.

As you've seen there is often a strong showing of LEO but they don't seem to be doing anything which was a huge shock to me. I've only had one experience on Harbor that seemed suspect. I pulled up on a really cute WSW who didn't get in the car or try to lean into the window or anything. She just motioned me to pull into a parking lot and said she would follow me in. So I took off immediately. Other than that I've never actually witnessed any kind of setup. Now Beach blvd that's a different story I've definitely seen girls and guys get busted there many times.

That's another great about all these girls wearing close to nothing. If a crowd of girls are wearing lingerie / miniskirts in a winter night then they're pretty safe to talk through the window. Correct me if I'm wrong but I can't imagine they could find one female cop to do it. Let alone three or four. Still risk getting caught from a patrol car but the girls are probably legit.

This was actually my first time actively looking for SWs. After reading this forum, I have to admit I was somewhat intrigued. Alas, last night Tuesday (12/15) at around 9 pm did not bear any fruit. Unless I was in the wrong area. But I was cruising the intersection of Harbor and Hazard in Santa Ana, and did not see any SWs. This was the area where there are little motels lined up, a strip club called Showgirls, and an adult video store next to Spanky's. In addition, there were sales car areas as well. Was I in the right place? I've never ever picked up a SW. Too risky for me. But I am drawn to the subject for some reason.

You were out way to early. That track is best between 2 a.m. and 5 a.m.But you were in the right area.
