I'm curious what the protocol is for asking rates. I've been doing this a few years now and have never ran into what I did last week. I get that some don't like to talk money over text and I don't like to either. But if rates on in their ad, or they don't have a site, or they're not in a review, how are you supposed to know?

I don't want to mention her name, but there's a lady I was considering seeing who had just a few reviews here but no one mentioned the donation. I sent her a text asking if she was available that evening and she responded that she was available shortly. I said that her rates weren't on her and asked if she could share them with me. A bit later she responded with a "?". Understanding why, I tried to ease her mind but told her that I had to understand donations if I was going to make an appointment.

She responded that donations are for her time only. At this point I was at a loss. I told her that I understand that, I'm not LEO, I am P411 verified, have reviews that multiple sites, etc. I'm not going to make an appointment if I don't know what it will take. She can call if she feels more comfortable. About a half hour later she said that was fine. I told her it was too late at that point but I'll try again another time.

This is the process I always follow when rates aren't in ad and I've never had someone play dumb like this. I've had a couple ask me to call, but never anything like this. So how do you go about asking for rates when they are nowhere to be found?

I travel a lot, when I do research on a lady, especially on BP, if there is no rate listed either in the ad, on her website, or in a review I make initial contact as far out as possible. If there are reviews, again I try to contact the reviewer. When I make contact with the lady I'm up front about when I'll be looking to get together (might even be a couple of weeks out in my case) and try to develop a casual dialogue; using terms like 'seeing you', 'getting together', 'spending time with you', but never using terms of a sexual nature. I feel her out regarding her knowledge of the various review sites, the opportunity usually then presents itself to inform her that I'm on this and / or other review type sights (that she is already aware of) which establishes my credibility and eases her tension. During the back and forth I'll get a feel for when it's right to inquire about the rates; here again, not using any specific sexual terms. If you're looking for specific or unusual menu items and she's a real pro, she'll understand if you dance around the topic during the running dialogue.

If the ad, review, or website doesn't list rates and there isn't time to work the plan above I usually err on the side of caution and pass on her.

This is just one plan, it works for me probably because I'm not a high volume consumer, I plan well ahead, and I usually stick with those providers I can verify to some extent.

I simply say,"if you don't mind me asking, what is your donation"? I have not had a problem with this, I think they expect it. I certainly don't ask any sexual questions, however.

I have not really contributed many reviews lately as I have just been seeing regulars and UTR girls, as well as mainly just PM'ing people whom I trust.
