Hello fellow SDs. It has been a while since I last posted but I've been monitoring this board closely (thanks to all of the great reports) and have remained active in the sugar bowl despite a rough period about a year and a half ago when my SO got extremely suspicious and confronted me about finding an unused condom laying around when she returned from a trip to visit relatives.
Although I managed to deny ownership to the point that she either gave up on the questioning or decided that she really didn't want to know the truth, that event slowed me down considerably. However, I have determined since that I don't have the will power to stop and life in the bowl has had considerable ups and downs since that time.
I've found over the 3 years or so that I've been in the bowl that I don't have the desire to pay the amount required to get a 9 or 10 rated SB in my search area (these seem to be running 300 and up per visit or want to tie you into an even larger equivalent monthly allowance to pay their living expenses), but can compete ok in the 6-8 rating range with per session allowances ranging from 150 to 250 per session. With that payment range, I currently have a small stable (very small compared to some of you regular posters) that I'm sure I'm sharing to some degree with a few of you that frequent this board. That's ok with me though. I'm not one that can promise to exclusively see only one SB at a time and I don't really require that of any SB that I contact. I typically have 5-6 SBs on my regular call list and have found that I need that number of active contacts just to help insure that when I have a free date to meet that I have someone available with enough time on their schedule to meet me. Most are busy with either school or multiple jobs or both, and finding an agreeable meeting time has been a challenge. I even have a couple of options that will meet me I the early morning (6-7) timeframe because the nature of our schedules are so hectic.
I do keep actively searching for that one SB that can meet all of my needs. Just haven't found one yet in my price range that can fill the requirements of:
-$200 or less per meeting.
-Enough free time to conform to my meeting timeframe limitations.
-8 or better in the looks and skills categories.
-Ability to host at their location at least occasionally.
-A NP that truly limits their P4 P activity to only a chosen few.
Still looking though. And I have to admit that the search has been fun.

I am now going on 7 months playing in the bowl and have learned a lot while having too much fun. If that is possible. I think I have settled into a very good place for what I am looking for. Stable includes VAbaby (26) - 4 months now. We meet about 1 per month, $. 5 per date. We play for 4-6 hours per date. Found a cheap hotel that lets me check in at 10 AM. Lots of fun. Bad with her. She lives with a bf and communication not so great. Taking tips from here and elsewhere I decided that I need to add some more SB's to the mix to have more communication. Latinbaby - (39) live outside ATL. Amazingly tight P and very affectionate. We will meet about 2 x per month. Only cost is dinner or lunch. She stays the night and is lots of fun. She is a great communicator and is very excited to see me. I am currently interviewing for another SB. I have modelsb (fitness model - 34) - been on two dates, one very quick m / g and a lunch. Next date is this week with FC visit. Cost "just be fair". Chattbaby. This one has come back from silence. She was the first m / g I did. Lunch date with make out in parking lot. Then she disappeared. Came back into the picture last week. Just texting now, but she is hinting that she is ready for this type of relationship. Have 3 other POTs that are in the texting stage (all between 21-25) in the ATL area. So I am in a really good place for me. I am not big on "one and done", I prefer to have an ongoing thing. Everything just gets better.
I signed up for SA to increase my stable. Great site filled with lots of POTS. Keep in mind, that are lots of UTR, Pros and SB's on the site. I prefer the SB's or serial SB's so it does take some weeding out. I do not play within 50 miles of my hometown. Just too much risk. I travel with work 2-3 days a week which makes for lots of date time. SA is set up with one fake identity. Once a prospect moves to POT status I give her another fake identity to communicate with me. Seems to work very well and builds trust right away. Google voice and gmail are your friends. I was playing in WYP and SDT. I have decided that WYP is a waste compared to the prospects on SA. SDT is good. But lots of work and not many opportunities. I have found that SDT is worth checking for fresh "new to the bowl" prospects. They just don't pop up that often. I am on my third week with SA and have contacted lots of prospects. About 1/3 of my contacts turned into POTS. From there I eliminated about half due to receiving more recent pics, crazy $$ requirements, just plain crazy or UTR / PRO suspicion.
Question about SA. Once your 30 days runs out do you keep access to existing messages or is everything blocked out until you renew again?
Last weeks dates: Mon. Overnight with Latinbaby, Tues 2nd MG with an atlcollegebaby (she is out of the stable now. No FC), Wed 2nd MG with modelsb. No FC, FC is scheduled for this week, Wed and Thurs wife dates, Fri VAbaby 4 hours.
This weeks dates: Tues. Overnight with Latinbaby, Wed. Mid afternoon with modelsb, Fri. VAbaby.
I have read some of the comments about this really messing up the SO dynamic. For me, it has made everything better. My SO is even performing better now. Maybe I am just better with all the baby play?. I need admiration, appreciation and affection to be truly happy. What was lacking at home is now being filled in the bowl. This in turn reduces my stress and makes me more pleasant to be around with the SO. No pressure on her to perform which has worked wonders. Keep your cover solid and hide all tracks. [/QUOTE]You are indeed blocked from accessing you messages, both reading and sending. IIRC, the first month was $46, while your future options are going to run closer to $70/ month for the month-to-month option. It's a bit cheaper if you go for multi-month bundles. The really ridiculous thing is that you CANNOT extend your membership until the first month runs out, thus garanteeing a short black out. One thing that still works is people you've previously communicated with will still be able to send you messages, so you get the notification which could helpful should you have already exchanged email / phone. I don't believe new contacts can be made since you effectively lose your premium status until you pay.

I too have been away from the Bowl for some time now and have just recently dipped my toes back into the water. It's tough sledding in my neck of the woods, but I am persevering and am hopeful. In the past I seem to have ended up with milfs, which is fine because in general the sex was off the charts. The down side there is that in most cases, there was emotional attachment involved. This time around I decided to focus on the young babies and I have found that it's a whole different ballgame.
I tried to craft an interesting introduction letter. However, in many cases all I get back is "Hi, can I see your pics?" I am assuming this is a trait of the younger babies. What has been the board's experiences with this and how do you respond?

It's not a trait of just younger SBs, it would be the first expectation of any legitimate SB. If she doesn't have a strong interest in assessing you physically as the very first order of business, she has already identified herself as an escort rather than an SB. Unfortunately the SD sites are polluted with these types.
A real SB is going to look at you as someone she may potentially be spending a lot of time with -- so of course she cares what you look like, if you're good in bed, etc. An escort or a UTR girl has a priority on the amount of cash to be made per transaction and is just trying to keep her schedule filled with income opportunity. Backpage and CL are probably better bets for that type of girl.
Of course I send the pics when they ask. I guess my point is that is the first and only thing asked at times. I have exchanged a few messages with Pots before they asked for the pics, but this time around seems different. But hell I'm old and forgetful so it may have always been that way.

I think there are perhaps multiple things at play:
1. To a real SB, photos are going to be pivotal, as they will dictate whether she wants to continue talking about anything beyond that.
2. Unlike 10 years ago, a lot of people do a lot of their dating communications via text or email on their phone / tablets. Smaller keyboard, smaller screens, less convenient to type so it doesn't make a lot of sense struggling with lots of written words at first, asking people what their favorite color or type of cuisine is until they've already been vetted via #1.
3. Since most of the girls have already posted their pics on the site, they see it necessary to level the playing field a bit to get pics of you as soon as possible. Many of them know you might be married thus have reasons to not put your pics in your profile, but they need to see them to balance things out. After all, you chose them based on their photos so in order for things to be *mutually* beneficial they will need to see yours.
4. Girls have their safety in mind, so the sooner they receive a picture of you, the sooner they can help ease any thoughts that you may be a creeper or psycho that's hiding something. Many of them do swap the photos of potential daddies around to their friends who are also on the site (I. E. "do you know this guy? " ) So it's partially an intel sharing exercise just like guys posting pics here of girls.
5. Some of them feel like they've gotten scammed by fake photos (guy sends them one photo, shows up looking very different). A number of them have conveyed this to me.
I started getting into online dating 15 years or so ago when it first started taking off. Trading pics first, if they weren't already online, was always pretty much common etiquette. Whenever I meet a girl who doesn't place an emphasis on seeing what I look like, it's an immediate red flag that she's a pro.
Oh where oh where has my baby gone oh where oh where can she be?. Two hours away, that's where. I prefer staying closer to home. My first long distance SB is just too far to make it work, unless she drives to me. Too much to ask for I guess, but we did manage to have half a dozen dates in 3 months. I hope to get a few more.
