I'm sure the locals will be aware of this anyway, but I felt I should report it. I had the misfortune, against my better judgment, of stopping for a 'girl' in a pink hoodie in the middle part of Sullivant. I had avoided stopping for 'her' due to a bad vibe for ages until I got frustrated late at night due to probs agreeing a deal with a lady. Anyway, once 'she' got in the car declined pussy check and got rather aggressive. Realised it was a TV / TS who proceeded to rob me at knifepoint. Stupidly I had kept cash for 2 sessions ($60) on me, in order to make things smoother when doing back-to-back sessions. He threatened to insist I go to ATM for more but changed mind soon after thankfully. A girl I saw soon after this was fully aware of this individual. No major loss for me in the end but trust no one else falls into this trap.
DL.
Yea this thing got. In my car once. Had purple hoodie and sweat pants. As soon as it opened its mouth I knew something was wrong. I told it to get out with the quickness. If any drama I let it know about my. 38 special on my person. I don't play with these people.

First of all, you're trapped behind a wheel with your foot on the gas. They're desperate and want your money. You will likely lose the contest. In addition, pointing a gun and pointing a knife are different. You don't exactly know where the bullets will land. If I point a knife at you I know where the tip is. Okay, say you're lucky. You get the gun out and you shoot. You're in a blood-soaked car, deaf, covered in his / her blood in a neighborhood you're not supposed to be in. And, if you kill him / her, you've got the body. It's not the wild west. The cops aren't going to let you go: 1) gun in car; 2) killing a person; 3) soliciting. You're going to jail. You will be convicted of 3rd degree homicide or manslaughter, if you have a good lawyer. In any fight or killing you will go to jail: no such thing as self-defense.
I suggest a blunt instrument or stun gun. They're not lethal and you want the person out of your car. I back these up with a 3" fold-up knife. That's the maximum legal length and it is more lethal at arm's reach than a pistol, if you know how to use it. Mace is nice but at close range in a car, you'll get it in your eyes too. The minute somebody gets in the car, have a free hand on the weapon, ready to use it. Keep it there until you feel safe. Remember, it's a whole lot easier to tell the police you beat up a guy / girl who was trying to rob you than that you shot somebody with a gun you were'nt supposed to have where you had it.

If someone pulls a knife on me while I am in my car and I kill them. I am pretty sure I will not go to jail. The burden of proof is on the prosecution to prove that you did not act in self defense.
Cruised down Heroin Alley aka Sully, and it seems the day brings out the walking dead among the SWs. I just said heck with it and went on home. A check of BP revealed the same ole same ole. We need an injection of new talent in this city. Thank heavens for the couple of utr I have on tap.

I will definitely look into those weapons. I know how to use guns but you made some excellent points. I will do precisely what you suggested.
Am I the only one who sees humor in these talks of carrying a weapon? Yes. In order to purse my hobby. (or in order to get off) I need to choose a weapon to risk my life and other peoples lives. CRAZY. Plus I think any talk of weapons on this specific board definitely reeks of "overcompensation". Let me buy a corvette and a MAGNUM to show how well endowed I wish I was.

Got pulled over recently Sully Bottoms for not using my turn signal in an alley. Whether I did or not is pointless. Any little infraction and your getting pulled over and questioned what your doing in the area. I can see a lot more of this happening -- getting pulled for DWM -- driving while mongering. For the newbies, if you don't have a good reason then they are going to give you a hard ass time. I had a story and played it cool and he was cool about it. Ended up being a 1/2 hr ordeal though after running my info -- I high tailed it out of there and hit a stroll in a different area. Just glad I didn't have a girl in the car or it couldn't been a whole different story. Play it safe and I would make sure all your lights, signals etc are in working condition before you head out.

Don't the druggies the dealers and the Columbus Police shoot enough people without mongers joining the fray. The only gun I want to discharge is the one between my legs.

Which BTW has just been debated a week ago.
Gentlemongers, no matter your opinion on protecting yourself, JUST PLEASE DON'T THINK $HIT AIN'T going to HAPPEN!!
I never want to see an RIP, or a Eulogy on this site.
We often offer in closing "Happy Hunting". Treat this hobby as such, and yes they can, will, and sometimes do bite. LOL.
Bigben (nice name BTW!) One of the secrets to life is to ponder, not shame the opinions, and experience of others in matters of their own safety, in order to augment your own.
And finally, to all. Read the laws concerning self defense, the Castle Doctrine, and your obligation as a legally, and responsibly armed citizen in The Great State of Ohio, before you dangerously mislead another.
Simply stated. If you use your firearm during the commission of a crime (ie: soliciting, pandering etc.) you are not protected. Just food for thought!
While I do carry, it would of course be my last resort Besides no one got it right about close quarter combat. Do your research, but if you don't train occasionally it matters not. HAPPY HUNTING!!

As for the pseudo psycho analysis, you are clearly wasting that degree on monger site. Not sure what the quotation marks are for. Who are you quoting?

Yea those punks got me for a stop sign a couple of years ago when crusin sully. Of course I knew what they were really up to. You can always fight the ticket in court, they might just plead it down.

As for me, I don't bother with guns and really love pussy! And for a small donation SW's provide an endless supply of new, hot, juicy, yummy cvnt to fuck and enjoy. Just my two cents. Be safe and good hunting. MW.

His evidence of this is what? Sounds to me like someone's got a sour ass over the right to carry. I can't help you with that problem.

Its just IMHO, but if a monger is looking for SWs and has to concern himself with weapons and looking over his shoulder for cops, then he may want to spend more time on this forum researching and asking questions. Sully is a dangerous place and is not for everbody, especially the uninitiated. Its full of heroin users, crack heads, dealers, meth heads and hustlers, not to mention more cops than most places. It takes both luck and skill out there. The idea should be to blend in, make the right choices with the right head, have a great time with a great girl you find and come back here and share. Nobody on here wants to see a monger get hurt or be a victim. So if you aren't feelin it, just ask. Be safe and have a good time. SWs are not for everybody, but can be lots of fun if approached properly.
