I was sitting in the corner by the wall by the exit by the stage. I leave to the VIP room, but leave my bag of food on the table to save my place. I come back out and a big guy is sitting in my space and my food is in the bag on the floor. I walk over and he hands me my food. WTF? Dude, seriously? I guess corners are primo spots, but the club wasn't that full and there are other spots. I guess he thought this 'outsider' was in 'his' spot. Who knows.

Called itself DC's #1 gents club. Neighborhood residents extremely hostile to it.

The club had filed for bankruptcy protection on June 20, but Judge S. Martin Teel dismissed the case on July 2. JP’s corporate holding company, BJ Enterprises, had sought to represent itself in the suit, but that is not allowed in bankruptcy court."

True story: my first time was with a woman who danced at JP's many, many years ago, so pour one out for this sad news. I haven't been back in at least 10 years, but liked knowing the place was there.

JPs had a memorial candle out front today with a hand writter sign: JPs, RIP 2012-2014. In actuality, that was only the latest reincarnation. JPs has a much longer and mixed history prior to the fire that previously shut it down. It a shame that all the resources that went into its renovation have been lost. It's even more of a loss that Good Guys is now the only choice in the neighborhood. DC has lost the title of FunCity.

Is it worth going to for Extras? PM me.

It's been quiet as a mouse in here. I haven't ventured out in months. Is EI still the preferred option? Updates please. Thanks.

Arrived early afternoon.

Pros:

Plenty of ladies.

Neighborhood: area seems ripe for some strolling or just post up by some of the local strip malls.

Cons:

$12 cover, for early afternoon?

No attention from the girls; I don't like coming to these joints and having to chase down / holla at girls like I'm in the regular club. 3-4 girls on stage with 1 or 2 dancing for customers and easily 3-4 just sitting on their rump, even after eye contact.

Girls were just ok, nothing stellar. I come to see big thick butts and or tits. Most girls were in shape but no curves to speak of really and nothing that qualified as a true spinner which for me is a must if you don't have butt or busts. I'm talking cute and under 5'1". Most were avg height with avg.

Looks.

Pg's finest was posted up inside. Real buzz kill.

Might return again later in evening if in town but nothing else poppin. Other than that, think I'll stick to the block for strip club fun.

Great labor day celebration at EI. Fantastic gas mileage. All relaxed for work tomorrow. MDC.

Anybody have any info on Irving's or Mustang's? Not asking if take-out is available. Want info from a dancer perspective. Do they do decent business, ie is there money to be made, is it all lap dances, that type of stuff. Any info is appreciated. Thanks.

Dancers there make most of their money from "wall" dances. Stage dances are topless only, and rarely do I see a dancer take in more than $5 during her three-song stage time. The wall dances are usually quite tame, but with the right dancer, and especially with one with whom you've developed a decent relationship, they can be somewhat decent. I've seen some dancers do many wall dances in a row with a single customer. That's where they make their money, me thinks.

I've read through the thread and apologize if I ask what seems like an obvious question. Are you welcome at the Ebony Inn if you're not black?

I love going to multiracial clubs, but I have to admit it looked frightening from the outside. Am I overreacting?
