They should close Flesh! I tried it out a couple of weeks ago just because Jayden Jaymes was there and had a horrible time, besides meeting her. I don't know how that club is making any money.

Now businesses and government are suddenly worried about strip clubs, one of their main "industries"? Also, since there are only about 800 residents in the city, they need legislation to "protect" them from strip clubs?
What is the world coming to? COI is the last bastion of (high mileage) strip clubs in SoCal.
Just visited the Vu in COI here and had a pretty good time last night'ish. It was around 4:30 I showed up. I forget how much $$$ a guy needs to really let loose in a club. Normally I go during the day or early afternoon and its easier to stay a long while. This time was later and there were way more girls. So off the bat I was in dances. I tend to drift in a club looking for a few high mileage girls.
This time I found a few and a tall Asian gal who said,"Your hands look super clean" before alowing them to roam everywhere. Got to dip a few digits into the pink which was fun.
Overall had a great time then ended with a quick HJ in one of the boothes. Not bad if I say so myself. Love the VU. Always have. I'll miss the Hawaaiian though. Had some good memories there.

First off I want to put out the question for response here or PM if anybody can report getting a high mileage dance from Vietnamese dancer named Frances? This was my first trip to any stripclub other than The Dirty Bird in Anaheim for close to a year. Before I discovered the Bird, Synn had been my fav club for about a year, but I didn't go more than once a month. Almost always Saturday day shifts where I found the girls average to good for looks but most had great attitudes and did good work in the frequent 3 for 1 nude dances for. 4. But the Bird easily won me over from Synn. I went back on a weekday just for something different and figured to encounter a different set of dancers. True enough, I didn't know any of the dancers except Carmela. She's one I enjoyed in past visits. But very professional.
I was first hit on by a new one named Aubrey. Very pretty young girl and very sweet. She's a college coed and she really comes off with that kind of fresh innocence. Definitely what I prefer over the hardcore pros. The problem with some of the newbie innocents especially if they're in college and on their way to more serious careers, they don't always come through or know what to do as well as the pros. This was the case with Aubrey. Her laps were pretty tame by Synn standards. Still hot because she is, and she is after all totally naked on top of you so how bad could it be? It was pretty nice, just not what I'd describe as a "monger's lap dance".
Next a persistent larger specimen named Essence's marketing efforts paid off for her. Pretty face with large but well done implants, one covered by tats. Next is Carmen. I was startled by her pretty face on stage when I emerged from my dance with Aubrey so set up an intent with her. She came over but was larger and more professional than I'd prefer. Her dances were about as weak as any I've had at Synn. Nothing but a grind and she didn't defend any regions, but very detached and professional.
Last its Frances. As described in the beginning of this report, she was sort of my target based on a review I thought I saw here or another site. She has got a beautiful thin body but the bolt-ons bring it down a notch for me, very pretty face, and nice personality. But as described, I found her dances to be professional and nothing but a grind, so I was disappointed.
So ended up trying out 4 different dancers. All new to me. None of them came through with what I want in a lap dance. I don't know if Synn has told the girls to cool it down or if I was just unlucky, but my prior experiences at Synn a year ago were never this dry.
There were some other hot looking spinners around who I didn't get to, so the variety was OK. I just needed one dirty bird, but it was not to be.

Or are there no more places available for a club that doesn't violate the 150 feet rule within COI?

Though one of the residential concentrations is right across the street from the HT mini-mall.
I believe that the COI passed this and other laws over the years to eradicate adult businesses. They did manage to close every single hostess club and those places once thrived in COI. They have closed numerous MPs, though obviously others are still in operation. But think about it. There has not been a new strip club space developed in COI in 10-15 years despite the city's reputation for SCs. A few clubs in COI and neighboring Puente changed hands. Sahara sold to DejaVu and Synn opened as a different club.
Trustworthy people in the know have "verified" that this is about the lease but I still have my doubts. If owner Randy or GM John told me so, I would still find it hard to believe. Unless the land owner plans on redeveloping that entire piece of shit mini-mall, it seems pretty unlikely he could find another tenant who would be as stable and able to pay as HT for that space. However, I think we've all known about commercial landowners who hold out for idiotic rents in bad times and force good tenants to move or go out of business while their property remains vacant. Could be a battle of wills between Randy and the landlord with Randy leveraging the closure to get a better deal. And he knows he can reassemble the troops if he gets a lease on his terms a couple of months down the line.
So like everything else connected to the SC industry, it's a matter of "who the hell knows?".
