I got the idea that all of a sudden all you mongers were running to see her after Old Al's post and I almost decided I would just wait till the hype died down and see her. However, we agreed to meet up around 4 am. I made my way to the area she was staying and she asked me to contact her when I was near. I did tell her that my phone was low on battery and I had left my charger at home so I will most likely use my other phone which I gave her the number to just in case. Got near the area and she texted me asking where I was, this was at 4:01 am. At that time I was withdrawing money out of atm and I use my other phone to let her know where I was, so I thought, because no response. I waited and decided to try and use the phone I had initially used to contact her, I had just enough juice to text I was in area and had to use my other phone. No response on either phone. I double checked the phone number I texted from my other phone and I realized I had texted wrong number, not hers. So I texted using her correct number, by then it was 4:09 am. All I heard was crickets, OMG! I hung around the area for 30 minutes and I sent a few texts and tried to call a few times but no response. I'm 100% sure she got spooked! I even told her the name of this website and my handle name in hopes that maybe it would help. I finally gave up and drove home disappointed.
Well, that goes to show I still have not mastered the hobby and still learning. There are some things I should have done differently to avoid this situation. I know one thing, I will make sure to ask any provider that is verified as legit, if she needs to verify me before I even drive out to meet her. That will save me a lot of trouble and disappointment. I did wonder why she never asked me any questions as far as LEO check. I figured she would take care of that right before she would give me hotel name and room but we never even got that far. Flavors of the week, month, whatever, I will just wait for the hype to go away. Either that or just book early in day, forget the late night stuff unless you previously met. It happened with the wonderful Ms. Jenny, first time I crashed, the rest was nice, we even spent a few hours just hanging out after our second to last meeting. I hope she is doing well wherever she may be, shout out to you Jenny!
