I love Jacksonvilles other scenes and this board is excellent, just offering one persons opinion as food for thought based on what else is available in FL.

Have the house to myself this weekend and wanted to splurge at an AMP, I have been to nearly every one in Jax / OP, but I find them regularly switching options. Hana has always had the best menu, last time I went Menu was knocked down to a hand shake and the talent was the worst I've seen there. Kingsley had a decent menu, last time just a hand shake as well (but very cute girl with good massage). I'm looking to go Friday or Sat evening. If anyone can suggest a great spot with a nice menu please message me. Thanks in advance.

Some of the experiences I've had here have been downright depressing. But I still wouldn't call our scene a complete waste of time or money. You just have to know where to go and how to request what you desire. This takes trial and error as well as research. Our scene isn't dreadful, it just takes a bit more work. That being said, I'd take Orlando or Tampa almost any day.

Simple rub and tug shops. Especially in and around the tourist area where the watchful eye of the authorities keep tabs on things. The premier place, Cherry Blossoms, is like buying cold cuts at Publix on a Saturday: Take a number and wait in line. But the girls are young and hot and your tip alone will be around the $200 range.

Tampa has always had a very good AMP scene. I enjoyed it for a number of years.

Why the difference between cities? Tampa is a much larger city and not the backwater that Jacksonville is. That alone attracts quality. We will never have a Tampa-like scene here, so knowing that you can make the best of the situation or chase other venues. Whatever floats your boat.

I am in my 30's so some of the older guys here feel differently. But there isn't one.

Tampa is loaded with them but they offer more than HE LOL.

Name one place in jax that you feel is the best.

I'm personally not much of an AMP guy, but I've visited the Infamous Pine Tree in Pinellas County and am afraid I started my AMP experience right at the top, no where else to go but down from there! Strip bars, with the exception of maybe Wackos, are also very hit or miss around Jacksonville. Anyone with experience in the south Florida clubs, Tampa / St. Pete / Pasco county area, or the legendary IR in Cocoa Beach will tell you the 'Wackos' level of service, and often MUCH better, can be had at literally dozens of Clubs -- every damn day.

SW action in JAX is 'OK' as well, but generally suffers from low quality, again IMHO, and frequent inconsistency. Some days plentiful, others, not so much. Maybe it's just a case of familiarity breeding contempt, but the strolls in south Florida, St. Pete, etc. , can be much more fun for me, and just about every other traveling Monger I know. And for my money, Orlando has some of the finest looking SWs I've ever seen anywhere in the country. I mean, with a little patience, you'll come across hot looking, flat out babes, dressed to impress. Right on the street. Hell, given it's much smaller population, even Daytona Beach has a lot more SW action going for it than Jacksonville.

Now, that's not to say Jacksonville absolutely sucks where compared to other cities. For it's size, Chicago is pitiful, for both SW and Strip Club action. And several other major cities like Denver and San Antonio are oddly very 'weak' when it comes to entertainment possibilities. A quick check of the forum proves my point. JAX is just what it is. It's alright, better than some, but not as good as many right here in Florida. Don't know if it's the demographics, lack of disposable income, or dearth of tourists. I do know the massive influx of snowbirds to west and south Florida drives a lot of the business according to the working girls I've questioned about it.

Maybe we should get the local chamber of commerce to work on this inadequacy -- we're missing some great business opportunities here Fellas!
