If your goal is to eliminate a paper trail to hide your actions from a spouse, a reloadable prepaid Visa is a great option, as is an online bank account. But if you're concerned about the girl you're getting the Uber for being able to trace you, just buy your Uber card online, then send her the number. There's no way to trace a gift card number back to the buyers credit card number without law enforcement involvement and a subpoena.

I have a PayPal I have had for a long time under my sugar identity. It is unclear to me that I could get this starting from scratch. I have used it a few times to send a few bucks (literally) to a POT I was dealing with, to buy her gas to come to a M&G, or whatever.

I always have my SB get us a room for FC, this can be a problem when the girl is so financially strapped, she doesn't have a credit card. I need to give them $ in advance and they put it into their bank account that has a debit card. (obviously, this is someone I have seen multiple times and trust w / this). Checking in to a hotel w / a debit card, they have to have the full cost of the room, and then a ridiculous deposit, sometimes up to as much as $250, in the account. After the baby checks out, they will refund the deposit, but that takes a few days of course.

I was in this situation w / a long ago SB, I needed to get her like $170. I got a prepaid card and entered it in to my sugar PayPal. I couldn't get PayPal to transfer the funds. I tried several prepaid debit cards before I found one that worked.

If the card has a PIN, I also scratch off the protective cover from that. With the info on the card, she can use it to get whatever. Often the card has a bar code on it, in favorable cases, they may even be able to get the bar code to scan at the register of a retail location.

You hear of people getting scammed and being told to buy prepaid cards to send the info on them to the scammers (to pay a bill from the IRS for example). It seems like this might work. It is just that most SBs don't quite have the smarts to use them.
