They tell you to go to a drugstore and buy a ebay gift card, they won't give you a room number unless you tell them the last 4 numbers on the card. Thats all they need to get the card validated in their name. And of course they don't give you a room number because its probably a guy you've been negotiating with the whole time. I came real close to getting scammed like this, bought the card and almost gave up the last 4 numbers to get the room number but smelled a rat at the last minute. Then I was stuck with a 3 or 4 hundred dollar ebay card, but it worked out for me when I bought a CCTV recorder I needed anyway.
