For a city of about 250,000 that's about 26 per 100,000 residents and a rather high rate! For comparison; Tampa. A city of about 350,000 - has only 14 unsolved homicides during the same time frame!! Not only is closure for the families important, but also there may be as many as 65 free range murderers roaming the streets. Tampa also cracks down on the ladies who work, but they also seem to have a better sense of criminal justice triage than St Pete?

I had my wallet stolen Aug. 4th, 9th, 10th, twice on the 15th, again on the 17th, 20th, 24th, and the 29th. Also Sept. 1st, 4th, 8th, twice on the 16th &17th, and very likely again this upcoming weekend.

So tell your friends to be careful. What a horrible way to take advantage of us older men. Warn your friends to be vigilant.

Wal-Mart has wallets on sale for $2. 99 each. I found even cheaper ones for $. 99 at the Dollar Store and bought them out in three of their stores.

Also, you never get to eat at McDonald's. I've already lost 11 pounds just running back and forth from Lowe's, to Home Depot, to Wal-Mart.

A few years ago I was stopped after picking up a working girl. They detained me for over an hour.

They told me to go sit on the curb. They treated me like I was a felon.

Then they put me on a watch list. I have been stopped a few times since because I'm on their list.

I'm an Army veteran, never been in trouble in my life. I pick up a prostitute, and now I'm enemy number one.

That is why some of us on here get a little pissed about these crackdowns.

We have nearly 5 times as many unsolved homicides as does Tampa. Fighting, preventing and solving real crimes is much more difficult than harassing working women. St Peterammersburg has chosen the easy route of focusing on easy arrests, and given gangstas a pass. This all preceded Big Chief Hollowloin and he's just the latest poster child of how not to keep a city safe. If police don't want to deal with real criminals, they should become cable guys, garbage men or salesmen.

The smart ones won't roll over for LE as they know what happens to a snitch & LE will not hesitate to hold something like that over their heads, or anyone else's for that matter.

I'm from Mass & in Brockton Mass several years back LE had a known SWer testify against a drug dealer, life went on she got clean & out of the biz, he got out of jail & not long after he did they found her dead & burnt body. That was about 2 years ago & LE has never found or charged anyone with the death.

The only thing LE cares about is the bust & conviction period.
