Even if they do have a friend with LE who could check you out for them, these days those things get recorded, and it would start raising red flags if a particular officer kept running names. No legit provider would ask for a copy of your license, because they know how easily one can be photoshopped and emailed. Asking to see it in person is one thing, still can be faked but not as easily, but an emailed copy is worthless.

As for the driver thing, most smart providers will hire a discrete driver for their own protection. If they're doing their job correctly, and you don't create any problems, you'll probably never even know they were there. A good driver won't be just hanging out in your driveway, or in front of your house. They drop the provider off, and leave. They stay close enough to respond quickly if there's a problem, but not attract attention from your neighbors. The best drivers are the ones who have worked in executive protection, they know how to be discrete, and go unnoticed.

In my opinion, there is absolutely no excuse for using fake pictures. If a provider is concerned about concealing her identity, there are other ways to do it without resorting to fake pictures. There are plenty of legitimate, reviewed, providers who use their own pictures.

When she was with Jim's agency she was a little chunky but certainly not more than a few lbs overweight.
