Lookee here. Might be my shortest report, LOL. As usual Word you have made several very good points and I would have to agree to most of what you have stated.
As with any area of business there are those that provide quality service and those that are rip-offs. It doesn't matter if you are looking at the medical profession, legal profession or the world’s oldest profession and everything in between. There will always be those that prey on the weak and uninformed. This hobby is no different. We have all been had at least once while hobbying. I have read the stories right here on this board from some of the best hobbyist about their misadventures. It is part of the learning curve.
I think the big misconception is that if we all join together we can run the rip-off queens out of business and dictate pricing. I wish it was achievable but seriously doubt the chances of it ever happening.
I have posted here myself exuding the benefits of frequenting the quality providers and strictly avoiding the rip-off queens as a way to force an economic hardship on the rip-offs girls. The problem is that a lot of the hobbyist I have seen post here are looking for that next best provider, the new latest new young pretty thing on the block, then hopping on down to the next one.
Also, how many hobbyists post here about getting ripped off or had poor service and were over charged by a provider that had already been poorly reviewed on this board. They just won't take the time to read the previous post to get the quality intel needed to avoid these pitfalls. Not picking on you at all Marmon, you know me I am always willing to assist you, but the girl you had issues with recently was given poor reviews on the board awhile back. If you had read her review you would have saved yourself some time and effort.

Well Word I do agree with you, we could control things a lot more than we do but it would take a well co-coordinated effort by all of us and you have been on this board long enough to know that a large contingent of the members here are afraid to even have a beer with each other in a sports bar. If people are so paranoid that they can’t even get together to have a beer in a sports bar how the hell you ever going to get enough people on the same page to dictate provider pricing. Just wanted to take a side bar and say that I in no way intended to disparage Marmon1913. We have conversed many times and I totally respect him. I believe a much better rate could have been given to members here, considering she is getting a constant flow of clients coming to her. Plus I feel the two guys promoting her were getting a side deal from her. So they are getting something out of it too. If it were me I'd be doing the samething, but I would and have worked out a deal for people I refer to SW's.
Part-Time SW's are basically Escorts too, but they keep a far lower profile and often have regular jobs, and are not Pro's.

Maybe I am a little confused? I have a network of 10 to 12 trusted hobbyist that I currently PM with here on a regular basis. I also have a much smaller group that I trust enough to meet for drinks and dinner occasionally.
We pass each other reports, prices, services etc. on a regular basis. This way we get quality service at a consistently fair price. That way a provider is not charging one of us a different price than the others. We also know going in what the services that are provided and what level of service to expect.
Doesn't everyone here have this network of trusted hobbyist? If not you need to get busy forming it because these friends have personally saved me time and money.
I guess my confusion comes from thinking you were trying to take a small group like mine/yours to a much larger board wide group. I did not realize that everyone didn't have this type of resource set up.

Callie, I am reading your post/reply, and I'd like to ask a few question if I may. Of course you are under no obligation to answer, but I hope you will.
You said (N. H. T. S.) paid for 30mins at 100, but wrote 200. That is possible, because errors in writing can happen.
But you said he was finished in 15 mins and had 15 mins left, and wanted a second PoP. I am puzzled, because he had 15 minutes left, and why can't he use the last of his minutes the way he paid for them.
Why would he need to pay for an hour to get two PoP's. If I paid 100 or 200, I would want every second of what I paid for. I am certain that if you went to a Tanning Salon for example, and paid for 30 mins, then you want your 30 mins or 60 mins, or whatever.
When my employer pays me for work done, they want 60 mins of work, not 45mins, and paid for 60. I have to also pay a big tax bill, my own personal bills, save a little for whatever, and still be able to sit a little money aside for SW Fun, or for you by appointment. So I would want every second of my time, without dispute.
You are the one getting TAX FREE money, and you are basically charging at 200p/hr the same fees a High Price Professional Attorney would charge. And he has to legally account for every dollar of the time he bills at. You don't!
It is his fault if he left early and I think he could have found something to do with you, instead of leaving for 15 mins even if he just talked to you about the next appointment, or just rubbed something, anything. Maybe he was disappointed by something you said or did, or the total sum of your actions. Only he would know?
I do like that you apologized to him, to set things straight, and make corrections.
When one is paying for a Professional, then that is what one should get and good customer service is the KEY to anyone's return, or to bring in new clients.

You are paying for the their time, correct? Not the activity. The ads say $XXX/HH $XXX/Hr - amount per time allotment.
That is the same as a lawyer or any other time based, paid service. My professional life is similar, so I know from where I am speaking.
Thus, whatever you want during the time (unless there are rules established from the outset defining what are included/excluded services). If you want to sit and talk for the time, play cards, eat & drink, or whatever - that should be the rule. It shouldn't matter if you can get one "pop" in or a "six-pack". Why should it matter if I chug away for 15-minutes, pause and then go again for another 15 or if I chug for 30-minutes straight?

From talking and checking in with many providers the past several days - just to b/s as I always do - word is it's been slow! Some have better days then others. It's just the economy right now. Callie and the other tops here in Cincinnati will manage I'm sure. My thought is to take care of our locals first and bypass those $$$+ traveling ladies who are just passing through. Maybe this topic should be put to rest, but my point was that you are paying for the girl's time. At least stay for the whole time and get your monies worth.
