Visited the famous Z. I like that she now has her own place in a safe location. Granted, her body is not really my type (a little larger than I prefer), but damn does that girl aim to please. There's an exhibit at the Civic Center called 'Bodies Revealed'. I don't know if cadaver is the right word but this exhibit has bodies, organs, fetuses etc. all preserved via a polymer process. All of the things on display are actual human parts. The bodies have been stripped of the skin, showing muscles, tendons, organs etc. I found this amazing. The bodies are from The People's Republic of China and according to one of the guides, all the work done to preserve these things was done in China.
I went to see it with my favorite Asian provider. She was as fascinated as I was by the whole thing.
Afterwards we went to Ichiban on Farmington Avenue. Total damage for the evening was $120.00 with about $50.00 going to the Civic Center.
When we got home, my provider had had such a good time that she told me, "You get more than one hour tonight honey." So we proceeded with some mutual touching, DFK, DATY, BBBJ, mish, CG, RCG, side-pocket, all finished off with a wild doggy ride (her favorite so she doesn't have to look at my face).
Later on, I told her I was very impressed with her performance, and asked her if it was alright to give her digits to some trusted Senior Members on this site. She responded with a playful Korean punch to the side of my head and said, "No honey."

Saw it at the South Street Seaport and it cost me almost C-note for admission. Unfortunately, there is a lot of controversy about the acquisition of the cadavers for the exhibit. Evidently many of the healthy, young exhibits (and especially the multiple pregnant models in various levels of development) were not actually people who donated their bodies to the greater good of humanity. They were political prisoners or people with ideas that ran contrary to the Chinese government. Scary thought... (An excerpt of one article follow, but there are many-- Google it if you doubt me).
"None of the people who once inhabited the bodies in Bodies gave their consent to be used this way, and that has made some folks profoundly uneasy. Their doubts are compounded by China's record of human rights abuses, including the harvesting of transplant organs from executed prisoners.
"We don't know how these people died or why they died, and I don't think Premier knows, either," she said, referring to the company, Premier Exhibitions of Atlanta, that is presenting the show. "Before we put our stamp of approval on it, there should be a high burden of proof on Premier."
There is another exhibit that was in Boston that evidently did a good job documenting where their cadevers came from "Bodies World" and "Bodies World 2" but they surprisingly had a lot less young cadavers and no pregnant ones...
It is a cool exhibit. A little disturbing not because of the dissections, but because of the "artsy" presentations of the dissections. Using human bodies in this manner does leave one feeling with an odd sense of ambilavence.
But look at how I use human bodies! Oh the irony!
