The major factor why our ATFs aren't coming back is the amount of money they can make elsewhere. No travel hassles, no high price of doing business, equal amounts of hassles with LE, and Covid is in decline in most areas in the US. Hawaii can't really compete on those levels.

We do get visiting escorts (hit or miss) and substantially more expensive than AMP girls. We do have a pleasant surprise with Nara returning, and sometimes the Chinese houses have good ones. But it's nothing like it was in the past.

It may get better but it's going to be a long time before it does. I'm a pessimist by nature, so it clouds my judgement at times.
