I've done tax work for a LOT of adult entertainers):

Tax rate for someone making $100 K would depend on what deduction / exemptions they have, their taxable income would be less, possibly much less. Even if you include GA state tax and FICA, tax rate won't be anywhere near 40% as you indicate. Too many variables to discuss in more depth, but their take home would more than likely be more than $5 K / month.

I stopped doing tax returns for entertainers because, although I didn't sign the returns as a paid preparer (payment was in differing types of "services"), I didn't want to be involved in something where I knew they weren't being completely truthful or accurate and I requested documentation for certain expenses. One former "client" a very popular entertainer at the Cheetah in the early to mid-90's, actually DEPOSITED over $140 K one year (I never figured out the math), but she insisted that her tax return only show (if memory serves correct) $65 K. If she were ever audited, no way could the logic of that situation be explained. I put her in touch with some real estate people (she bought 2 houses and started renting them out), a tax attorney (she didn't have attorney / client protection with me), they set up different accounts and the such. She got incorporated as a business, had legitimate deductions for outfits, health insurance, etc. And did quite well for herself.

She was a brilliant business person and a beautiful woman.

All that being said (and remembering her fondly), I also dealt with some entertainers that were dumber than a box of rocks. One told me to deduct her drugs (not the legal kind) as a business expense because she needed them before she danced. That relationship didn't last long.

In a midwestern state, many years ago when I was a poor college student, I visited a strip club with some friends. None of us had much cash, nor did we know how the game was played.

There was one dancer, pretty face, but not that great of a body (perhaps 7/10), but not bad. For some reason, maybe I had too much to drink, I kept staring at her eyes while she danced near us. She ended up sitting with us and asking me why I wasn't staring at her body. I made some lame excuse about the eyes being the pathway to the soul or something else. Frankly, I just didn't want to be seen as just ogling her body. This was many years ago and I was in my early 20's. I didn't know any better.

She was dancing to make money to go to chiropractic school. We dated for several months before she went away to chiro school in another state. Last I checked, probably 25+/- years ago, she owned 4 chiropractic centers.

Report doesn't mean much, just made me feel good thinking about her.

I just took a sip of coffee when I read that last line, it almost ended up on my keyboard. That being said, I am not an accountant, but I do have an MBA I do taxes for friends I never even considered the idea of trading favor for favor during tax season. I think I'll give it a shot.

As you pull up you see cars every where like the place is going to be packed. When you go inside survey says Thumbs Down! These chicks stomachs and asses are both the same size. It looks crazy as hell to see a chick with a big ass and a even bigger stomach. The cutest one in there at the time was the bartender. She said. Any if I were you I'd go down the road to Club Blaze. I tipped her $10 said thanks and hit the road to Blaze.

Come to Nashville, all our strip clubs suck.

Bmat, its funny you made those comments about the dancers at Foxy Lady. When I first visited that location I noticed the same thing. The dancers azz and stomach's were both big. And they look both over the top ugly and ratchet. Theres always a bunch of cars in the parking lot but the club doesn't be that busy on the inside. Foxy Lady is truly a mess and that's a straight up summary of that strip club.

Every weekend I have the option of driving past some of Atlanta's most popular booty clubs and I even try to solicit business to management by offering them delivery service when needed. I drive past Club Onyx, Tattatales, Club Blaze, Blue Flame, Old Shooters (now called Club Platinum). Peaches of Atlanta, Club Babes, Gold Rush Show Bar and I can keep naming. But here's the thing I noticed most of the strip club scene in Atlanta is becoming dead. I've come to realization that most gents rather more keep their money on them or splurge the shit on a Sugar baby and not knowing she's fucking like 7 other guys with his same profile also. I went inside Club Onyx this Saturday to pick up some old chairs and bring some new ones. Man the dancers was telling me that it's hard to make $200 a night here and the club went up on their fees. Pin Ups be bustling with activity during the weekends. However, the dancers told me that the club went up on there fees also and that just put a larger dent into their pockets. Blue Flame dancers told me despite the fact Valet be at the Valero and Towers package store. Most of the customers come to that strip club to get phuck up and throw money on the floor. When the dancers see money being thrown on the floor more women will come and start shaking there ass which will in turn hurt the original dancer pockets because she have to divide $150 by 7 or more. But they tell me most cats don't pay for dances inside that club they just like to throw money on the ground and that's when more women will come to join in on the mullah. This is from a old report but I just want to share that information also. Gold Rush is crazy dead on the Weekdays and so so dead on the Weekends. Club Babes that place have lost a lot of clientele over the past few months. I drive past that place also on the Weekends it's also not that busy. Just because you see a whole lot of cars in the parking does not mean that strip club is busy most are club staff and the rest are customers. Some of the dancers at Strokers are on my fb friends list and they tell me it be slow on the Weekends and most of the patrons don't pay for dances there. It might be a lot of people in the club, but most of the people are there to smoke, drink and treat it as a lounge instead of a strip club. I really can't say why the Atlanta strip club scene is no longer a lucrative pay for strippers. Then again I know plenty of strippers who warn me about other dancers who scam patrons out there money. I'm glad they tell me all of that because I'm not into paying for dances and I can care less about VIP I mainly like to throw money on the stage.

Point blank, there are A LOT of birds / dancers / young chicks / older chicks in the game period! There is a lot of competition and a lot of options to choose from.

A rich older guy can go to the strip clubs, see a sugar baby, go to a massage parlor, hit up a BP chick or an "upscale" agency escort. A man can only be in one place at a time.

With sooo many options to choose from, chips are being spread all over the place. Instead of being concentrated on one girl.

Not to mention the fact that rich guys have a life too. They have wives, kids at home and meetings, etc. To go to. Also, once they get their rocks off they might want to just relax and do something else with their chips.

The women workers great outnumber the mongers.

I'm a young guy with lots of stamina, but I'm not superman. Even I get tired and can only get about 4-5 bbjs a day or smash only a few broads before I'm tired or feel like doing something else.

Once I spend those chips, I realise that I have nothing to show for it, except for an experience (basically a memory). I could easily take my chips and get something physical like a game, or clothes or something that I will still see next week. Versus some poontang our that only lasts for 30 minutes, on top of the attitude some of these chicks have and the games they play.

I'm with you on the getting tired of the regulars, I usually get bored after the third time no matter how phenomenal the tang is. I've seen one or two more than three times, but that usually because a new one has flaked on me.
